great vibe, good service and yummy food. very spacious and not too noisy.

Everything appeared wonderful and then whack. Raw poached eggs. Not just white and slimey.. still clear! Then tried to charge us for the clear unbeaten egg.. Shame. Beautiful little spot.

We are repeat customers & have always enjoyed our visit. Great ambience, good food & very friendly attentive staff. Love recommending it to our friends who have also enjoyed going there. We certainly will be using this Restaurant in the future

A warm, welcoming restaurant with a great menu. All nine in our party thoroughly enjoyed their meals which were served promptly and at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and accommodating with a few changes to dishes required. There is plenty of nearby parking and it is easy to get to on public transport if you prefer.

Great food, lovely and friendly staff. Really nice atmosphere to enjoy. The food meals looked and tasted absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be returning to the Goat House.

Service was a bit ‘patchy’ at times, there were a couple of mix-ups with our order, but it was a busy night and the staff were super friendly throughout. Food was really tasty and the place had a nice, relaxed atmosphere.

Ambience great, restaurant has lovely airy, welcoming feel. Casual and relaxed lunch. Food ok, wine a bit too expensive (dearer than the food) and very limited range.

so easy , quick and verified by the restaurant , great service and so easy to use , being able to avoid calling up the restaurant was a real time saver

The Goat House was fabulous! We booked for 25 people and were given the back room to ourselves. The menu was broad and everyone enjoyed their meals. It was great that we could order individually at the bar to save trying to split the bill at the end of the night. Highly recommended.

Dirty tables, not set. Menus had huge oil marks. Asked for no pepper on steak - got a huge amount put on! Will not be rushing back at all

We were a party of 21 and were very satisfied with the food and Service received. Or s Ecial needs were attended to very satisactorally. Highly recommended.

Great service, lovely food and a beautifully light environment. Perfect spot for a Friday lunch. The quinoa salad was delicious and my friends enjoyed the lamb salad.

Meal and service was great although it was quite warm inside. Lamb loin and chicken and mushroom risotto we're great. We didn't liked the mojito though and sent it back. One of us requested no onions in the salad and it came with onions. When we alerted them at the end of the meal, they apologised the error and offered is free coffee's.

Delicious food - we enjoyed the Flinders Island Lamb Loin, Pork Belly and Parmigiano. We also had expresso martini's. Waiters were very accommodating when we wanted to change our table to sit outside. I would certainly go back. Service time was good and wait staff very responsive and friendly.

You can book even for 2 or 4 people bonus, Service was great, Food was good. Parking was a little bit of an issue, but then where in Melbourne can you find a great spot to park lunch time Sunday's.

The tapas does not only have a great selection, when it is presented to you (if you choose multiple dishes) in comes on a well presented platter and the choices we made were perfect. The wait staff were also really well trained and polite.

Booking per telephone was atrocious. called four times at various times of the day and in each case the line was very busy and I was put in a hold pattern. The continuous voice message was irritating to say the least. Eventually in each case the call was mysteriously cut off. Fortunately I was able to book per website. The retaurant service was good and overall an enjoyable experience. The food was enjoyed by all and they are returning for another event in july.

A real neighbourhood gem. It's casual and local but also has a nice vibe above the normal coffee place. It's a place that works all day and for all moods.

Very good value and service. We had a steak and glass of wine for $20 from a choice of lamb shank and salmon also- would definitely recommend

Great place, open but not too noisy to have a chat. Open fire, tables and chairs comfortable. Complimentary bread and oil, decent prices for wine by the glass and great options of $20 meal that comes with a glass of wine.

Lovely place, the atmosphere was great, perfect for a summer drink and meal outside. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend eating here.

great food, service and atmosphere. my daughter approached the red cabbage in her chicken and veg with suspicion and then pronounced it delicious. Huh! Seafood very well cooked, and the pork belly dish was huge.

Had a great lunch here. Food was very tasty, location and ambience very good and reasonably priced. The highlight was actually the manager - his sense of humour and generosity in giving us free fries and a bottle of sparkling wine too! Don't know how we deserved it but it was most welcome!

The food is fine, the team were fine. It's a casual cafe. The food isn't brilliant but ok. Too many staff the night we were there, they were attentive to the point of being annoying - coming over every 5-10mins. I would go again but not for dinner maybe just for coffee.

I have found the Goathouse to serve good coffee the service was a bit slow but allowing for split bills was a great assistance. It is well worth the effort.

The food was tasty and cooked the way we asked, and the service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting with large windows looking out onto the garden/park outside.

Could conveniently book table for group coming from all over Melbourne. Well- spaced out tables, good service, very reasonably priced meals and beautiful outlook over plaza. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend

Great food at a fair price. Service was great with smiles all around. Our large table was positioned well without any cramping of place settings. Will definately return.

My booking was never entered into the restaurants reservation book at the front desk, fortunately there were plenty of spare tables. The service offered during our stay was good but certainly had room for improvement.

Great pizza and kids menu options. Seafood risotto also delicious, with beer on tap. Terrific outdoor dining area and friendly staff. I would recommend eating there!

I eat there regularly it's a Gem of a restaurant, dined with friends that haven't been there, it was a hit - we'll be back

Service was excellent. The Goat House has ambience. Would like to see more meat options outside of a salad. e.g. Meat Hamburgers, fish and chips etc
