The food was scrumptious! Will definitely be back! Was a little disappointed you couldn’t bring a birthday cake to the restaurant for health and safety.

Food was good but the service lacked warmth and finesse... “you’ve got to leave by 8pm”, premature plate collection, feeling rushed and not valued, and being asked “do you want something?” When wanting to pay are the kinds of reasons I didn’t add dessert, additional drinks, nor shall I return.

The signature dish called cheese wheel tasted just like an ordinary pasta dish. On the other hand, the deep pan pizza was good and different- we were pleasantly surprised with it.

Firstly and most importantly, the poorly trained staff. When asked simple questions about the menu, staff were unable to give answers. Example: asking about one of the cheeses used for the pasta cheese wheels, a waitress described it as “cheesy” and couldn’t elaborate any more on the type of cheese. When asked about the sauce that comes with the flat bread the waitress chuckled uncomfortably and said “uh it looks like pesto I’ve been told” and when we asked if it tasted like pesto she replied “I think so”. After trying it, we can confirm it does not taste like pesto. The staff also took 50 minutes to serve our food which is ridiculous and failed to top up our water at all. Management should invest more time into training staff. Secondly, the menu seems to have been priced with littleness to no thought. Oysters are triple the price of most other restaurants and 2 serves of olives costs the same as a main. Not sure what kind of magical olives they were since I couldn’t bring myself to spend 5 jars worth of olives price on an entree serving. Thirdly, the despite authentic styled menu, the restaurant itself reeks of commercialism. For the price you’re paying, the atmosphere, venue and staffing feels more like you’re in a mid-range chain restaurant. The drinks menu was well boasted a total of 3 wines from Italy, again undercutting the authenticity. Finally, back to the food, perhaps the one redeeming thing about our experience. The pecorino cheese wheel pasta was excellent and the special ravioli was decent. Overall, I don’t recommend, there are far superior restaurants competing with better wine lists, service, atmosphere and if these things aren’t important to you, there are far more places that are priced more affordable offering the same standard.

This place loves its gimmick food. I guess it worked - got us through the door. Not bad or anything, but a bit disappointing considering the prices. We also seemed to get forgotten about a few times, but it was a busy night.

The food was amazing and the service great. The only feedback I have is, it was cold in the restaurant. The heater needed to be turned up a little given it is winter. I'll still be returning for the delicious pasta and Italian wines!!

I went with a group of 7, no one was impressed with their meal. We started with the arancini, nice crisp outside but bland filling, barely tasted any cheese... People ordered cheese wheel pastas, vegetarian gnocchi, salad, prawns, and ravioli. It all sounded lovely when the waitress described it, but everything was underwhelming and flat. Portions were moderate, quality so so, and prices high. The tall young guy that brought out our plates was so low energy, slumped over to the table and flopped the plate down... Hung over young mate? The only redeeming quality was the enthusiastic service of the young lady that took our first drinks order and settled the bill. Zero chance I'd be back.

Just amazing! The deep dish pizza is to die for and the flaming cheese wheel is a real treat. Felt like we were back in Italy ❤️
