I have always enjoyed Gondola Gondola when I have visited with a group however this time there was only 3 of us and we were given a table right in front of the door on a very cold night. Unfortunately it did impact on our enjoyment of the evening as we often needed to jump up to close the door properly.

Prompt attention, speedy service, great food. What more can you say.

Visited on a Monday - was very busy - so make sure you book! Quality of food is high. Little bit pricey for mod Vietnamese (although this may be normal in ADL) but would definitely go back.

Seating was very tight. Food was pleasant but not great. Not good value for money.

To fast to kick us out after we ate. Food overpriced. And service lacked- no one asked how our meals where or for extra drinks during meals. Overall would not go back nor would recommend.

The food was outstanding - so delicious that I've booked in again and cancelled my other birthday reservations. We sat at table #3 and the couple next to us were very loud, especially the guy. It felt like we were at a table of four, instead of a table of two. We couldn't help but listen to his narcissistic rants. But they left eventually.

Food was amazing. Service was lacklustre, they were busy and only had 2 people waiting tables so in fairness that probably contributed.

Easy to book. We took a friend from Sydney! She ordered our courses. Loved all selections. Especially Pandan chicken. Blossom dish, eggplant and sushi small dishes and Matcha Creme Brulee! Service prompt and efficient. Good wine selection.

Delicious and very fresh food, well-priced wine and service, intimate and comfortable table for three. Music level was lower than last time I was there, much better for chatting.

I don't believe this restaurant values customer service at all. I didn't appreciate having to agree to a booking policy with 90 min sittings for 5 people or less and 105 min sittings for 6 or more. I do not like this culture of being a paying customer and then being asked to leave. I don't believe this is how a restaurant experience should be. No split or separate bills, bookings for more than 8 people are forced to go on an expensive banquet menu - with a philosophy like this, I will not be returning to Gondola Gondola.

A strong smoky smell pervaded the restaurant on arrival. The food was not as good as we had some time ago

Food was quite average and came out very staggered. Some of my colleagues food was cold before the rest of us were served. Last time I ate at Gondola Gondola it was fantastic, so I was very disappointed by this visit.

Extremely disappointed in the experience, What we paid for is not a reflection on the type of food we recieved, I firstly asked for a booth in advance and when we arrived we were told they were all taken (the whole time we were there they sat empty) In terms of the food just no sauce and flavour !! and if you are going to charge 30 dollars for crispy squid it needs to be a step up from my local fish and chip shop. Cannot tell you what a flop this experience was!

Food was good. I have been here 3 times already always have a great time but last night we didn’t really happy with the service. I’ve asked to change the table as my husband couldn’t sit on the long chair as he has back problem. They changed table for us but have an hour limit while half of the restaurant still empty. Also keep reminding that you only how many minutes left that we could stay. :(
