The Groove Train - Frankston

The staff at the Groove Train were fantastic; they were aware that we had another engagement and were pressed for time - and our order was taken quickly and brought out with lots of time to spare. It was steak night so very reasonable prices and theme night deals are a good initiative. Very satisfied .... thanks again

Went before a Girls Night Out movie which are always very popular. Checked to make sure we would get our food in time for movie start. Was told yes if we ordered straight away. We did. Simple order of 4 mains, no variations. We had some drinks while we waited. Food did not arrive. We left just in time to see the start of movie, missed the ads and everything. Staff were fine and apologetic, but I don’t think they should make false promises on a busy night when they can’t deliver.

The staff were pleasant and attentive. Look forward to dining again sometime soon. Food reasonable priced for the size serving. Keep up the great work.

Brought my interstate relative to dinner. All floor staff smiling and happy, great service, great food, not overpriced, what more can say. Will be back.

We had an amazing time last night. All the staff were so friendly and the food was delicious and we'll presented. I could not fault the restaurant except the bathrooms.

We sat in booths , seating upholstery was really appaulling, did not want to sit ,needs upgrading, apart from that ,food was good as was service.

Loved the atmosphere, friendly staff, great food. The only negative I can say is that the tables were so close to the wall some people had to squeeze through

We had a really nice night. There were a few times where the waiter struggled to keep up with all the tables but a lovely meal.

Went here to catch up with friends for lunch. Meals were good, friendly service and timely, didn’t have to wait to long. Would go back again

Very attentive waitor. However, would have liked them to ask if we were ready for the kids ice cream. They didn't say and so we left without kids getting their desert.

The staff were incredibly nice and delivered the food in a short amount of time. Also, the food tasted delicious and overall it was a great valentines day experience. :)

All the staff were lovely. There were 8 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. The servings were very big and we struggled to get through everything. Overall a good experience.

Great place to eat drink and socialise Staff are so friendly

Moroccan lamb was a beautiful dish. The underground Pinot noir was also a nice wine to drink. Service was prompt. Toilets could be a little cleaner.

Food and drinks were all super delicious, as always !! Staff very friendly and attentive !! Has definitely become one of my favourite restaurants for any occasion!!

The staff are nice but we were forgotten about. Had to ask twice to gets drinks we had ordered. Other tables received their dinner who’re us despite us ordering food 25mins prior. Adult meals came out before kids meals, and had to ask 3 times for the birthday cake to come out. Disappointing and we won’t be back.

We had a very pleasant visit to the Groove Train. Staff very friendly and helpful, and the seafood basket was delicious. Then we decided to have a tiramisu each. Big mistake, could have shared one as they were so big... But so yummy, couldn't leave any. Coffee was great too.

The table service and food was excellent and the prices very reasonable, however, the only issue was extremely noisy children all around, especially with a space invaders machine situated directly behind our table, the noise and kids milling around constantly was a bit off putting and made it hard to enjoy the meal.

Over priced & unfriendly, we have to flag down someone to take our order, i felt so rude waving at them, and making them come over. i get that at work you want to have fun and talk to your friends but yeah, just a tad off the ball last night.

Great staff, excellent food - well worth the price! For a group of teenagers, it was affordable and tasty, and a great environment for socialisation.

Lovely coffee. This place has a really nice setting. You can just chill out and read the paper.Good breakfast menu. This place is always good.

The food was good but very over priced. The staff were nice and helpful. There was one worker and she was very nice and helpful, she was asking do you need any drinks, is your food okay, just very polite in general

Very clean, meals were great and quick to come out. Plenty of staff to serve us Not to expensive and great location Wasn't overly busy so everything was quick to come out.

Booking for Sunday night. Food was huge and not bad but service was slow and the food took a long time despite only around 6 tables in the venue. Good for larger tables and the kids.

Not very busy at the time we went in, but the personal kept themselves busy. Even so, they made sure we had good service. The food was very generous in quantity and very good in quality. We will be back.

Great food, great service and relaxed atmosphere. The background music was brilliant and the staff were terrific. Mother Day turned out to be a great afternoon.

The food was good, but my meal wasn't put through the register! Had to wait 20 minutes whilst everyone else has finished their meals. Lucky we asked otherwise I wouldn't have eaten!

Fantastic place! Great food too - best carbonara ever.. service was friendly and helpful, atmosphere is warm and welcoming - can't fault this place. Will be back soon

Service was slow and lackluste .we waited an hour for our breakfast Only one waitress. We wont be back .have been several times before and service was very good ..gone downhill

Great service and beautiful food. Drink service at the table was brilliant too. Was quite loud in there - but improved over the evening as people were leaving.

Tasty food with a variety to choose from. Pricing is fairly standard. Staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly. Venue was upbeat and clean. We look forward to the next time :)
