I believe I may have been overcharged for our meal last Friday. I emailed the Gunyah Hotel to clarify the cost of our meal & to date no reply has been received. Quite disappointed.

the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful 😁. it was my wife's birthday and the staff did all they could to make it special for her. the meals were beautiful as well

Food was great. However it seems to be an issue across all bistros that have salad with their meals. 90% Mescaline Lettuce. 4-5 1/2 slices of Spanish onion, 1 cherry tomato then coated in vinegarette. Boring. But the service was fantastic & the rest of our food was great!

The Spanner Crab pasta special didn't have much flavour at all and for $36 is was very disappointing. It was schnitzel special night ($18) but the sides were chips and salad, you could not change to vegetables. If you wanted to change to vegetables you had to purchase the $25 schnitzel. No sauce included in the special so you are really looking at $21 with no alterations. The service was good but the food no so much, and it's quiet expensive for what you get.. It used to be my local but I think I will be going elsewhere in future. Thank you.

limited menu No chicken options other than it being deep fried from the mains it was either steak or swordfish Menu online was different to when we arrived items removed we would have booked elsewhere for the meals has we of known there was no healthy chicken option was disappointing However very friendly staff! Would go for drinks but not the restaurant food

Not bad overall but the park belly was pretty awful for the price and amount. Tiny slivers of pork and some wilted cabbage with no sauce for $32? Ridiculous

Service and staff great … helpful and accommodating Food very disappointing… mixed grill not worth the money…. Quite bad . Chips , chewy small price of steak , a sausage and 3 pieces of onion rings with a spoonful of coleslaw. Not really happy

We ordered the smoked salmon and prawn pasta. It came out with bacon. Apparently the staff were told it didn’t look full enough so pack if our with bacon. We sent it back, still came out tasting like bacon and no smoked salmon to be seen. Very disappointing. Our

Friday lunch we both had rump steaks, chips and salad. The steaks were very tender, the salad good. Service was good and the pricing good.

2 roast dinners only warm. Snitty with prawn topper ok but carrot and broccoli were cold and hard. Couldn't eat.
