Always a lovely experience at Hana Jurin. Great quality, taste and presentation of food. The chirashi and tempura are two of my favourite dishes there. Wonderful service too.
Food is good, but we went on a busy night so kitchen was a bit slow in bringing out our order but that was understandable. So no worries. We will come back again as we weren't able to try the Omakase meal because it was full.
Great food. Service a little slow. Particularly given it wasn't very busy. This is such a good restaurant. Will be back regardless. Love it here.
Great omakase dining experience by a knowledgeable and talented chef. Staff were very attentive and friendly, impeccable service. Would definitely recommend to friends and family :)
An authentic Japanese restaurant based in Crows Nest. There is a good variety of Japanese cuisines, yet the standard for each meal is very high. The service was very good and the food was delivered timely and it was delicious. My only feedback was that they had toro advertised being available, however when I ordered I was informed they had 'run out'
Service was amazing and the food was some of the best I've had in a while. Would recommend to anyone. The chef was very welcoming and continued to try and educate us about the food he was serving.
Fantastic food and great service! This is simple sushi at its utmost best - no fancy fusion sushi in sight. It was fantastic watching the chef make each piece and serve to the diners. Would definitely recommend.
The food was amazing and the service was good. Sushi in particular was a hit! We thought it was very reasonably priced as well considering the quality of the food. Thanks for the great night out.
This is a wonderful traditional Japanese restaurant. Everything is delicious and immaculately prepared. The staff are attentive and very polite. They have both a sushi bar and a teppanyaki bar, but don't expect anything thrown here .. it is all about the food.
Very fresh food and great service. There is a good variety on the menu including tepanyaki and sashimi, eell rice and udon but also some more exotic specials like sea urchin and a tuna head.
The food was great. The sashimi was very fresh. Despite the crowd, the service level was still good. Would definitely come back again. Only problem was the noise level from the next table was unbearable.
We had a great night spending at this lovely Japanese restaurant, the waitress were very nice to help us to serve the dishes and taught us how to best enjoy the dishes. The sashimi was fresh and other dishes were delicious too
good quality sashimi. place is nice and quiet. recommended for fresh high quality fish. sashimi lovers must definitely come here. had the beef tongue udon which was just ok. but sashimi is top notch
Super feiendly staff. Yummy Japanese food and big range of alcohole to choose. Great customer service!!! That made our time so special. We had a private room in downstairs. Perfect girl's night venue!
Every mouthful was amazing!! Soo tasty & fresh. Excellent service. We had a variety of sushi rolls, tempura prawns and vegies & misu soup. My favourite was the soft shell crab rolls!! Yummm!!
Food was awesome, great service and friendly staff, best Okonomiyaki ever, the pork kimchi was awesome too. The restaurant has two levels, Decoration and atmosphere is good. I'm definitely going back.
Food was delicious, owner was very friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice 👍 Overall I am very happy about the services. I will visit again shortly 😊
Great experience. Highly recommend the omakase at the bar, where you can watch the chef skillfully prepare the fish and make the sushi in front of you. Definitely comeback again.
Very nice food- good variety on menu. Table was a bit sticky from old food. Had a minimum $30 spend per person and 2% surcharge for paying with card, which I thought was a bit much.
Most authentic Japanese we have had in Sydney. The tuna collar was recommended and worth the wait! Also recommend the eel on rice. Will definitely be back!
food (especially sushi and sashimi) was great, easy acess location, good for both business and private. you also can enjoy how to make sushi and sashimi if you have seats at counter.
One of the top Omakase restaurants in Sydney. Chef with his creativity uses a lot of local ingredients to create a very distinctive Sydney styled sushi.
Genuine authentic Japanese restaurant with a variety of tasty food on the menu at reasonable prices. Good service, had an amazing time with friends. Highly recommended.
good food， good service，but not easy to find car par space, baby friendly toilet, the special Bento is very recommended, beef tongue is very special
Amazing fresh seafood and beautifully skilled sashimi chefs. Loved the presentation of the dishes and the variety on the menu. Will definitely be coming back!
Sensational meal served by delightful staff. The sushi, in particular, was sublime. We shall return for omakase one evening soon. In the meantime, happy memories!
Food and service are great. It is some of the best and freshest sushi we have had in this area. It is somewhere we will definitely come back to again
Wonderful experience! Friendly, relax and worth the price. We are all Looking forward to going back there to try other yummy items in the menu.
We ate downstairs in a traditional setting. Had the place to ourselves. Ordered a lot from the menu all of which was fresh and fantastic.
Excellent food, service is good. Sashimi is a highlight of every meal I have had here. There is always something new on the menu that is worth trying.
The sashimi there was very fresh however the other dishes were on the average scale. Very over priced as well! Customer service wasn't that great either, we tried to ask for the bill many times but staff would just brush pass us until 5 minutes later.
Service was good, food was good, nice little cosy restaurant. A little disappointed that I was charged $10 cakeage for just 2 people. But overall good experience.
Excellent Omakase on Saturday night, although quite busy. Highly recommend the omakase, and might be better on a weekday night. Chef was excellent in explaining the dishes
Food was really good, but my little one is not letting me enjoying my dinner :) We will come back for sure. Love the fish cake!
Great food! Very fresh seafood, especially the O-toro! Very friendly staff! One of the best Japanese restaurant in Sydney, especially for those who love sashimi!
Food was very nice & service excellent. Very busy for a Monday night. Good atmosphere. Not a fan of restaurants that place surcharges on Visa & MasterCard credit cards.
I ordered chirashizushi,it was so fresh sea food and good rice.l satisfied it. But our seats wore out ,it was disappointed, because l invited my friends at the time.
Good food and service, especially the sashimi. Not too busy so good atmosphere and not too expensive. The noodles were also very good so you should try that.
Service was good. Food was decent, maybe not as good as I expected, sushi platter was sold out by 8pm. But overall it was a pleasant night.
Service was a bit slow at first but polite and helpful after we finally got to order. Some seats were really uncomfortable and tatty. Food was delicious.
Traditional Japanese food, the host was very informative on the menu. She helped us select a good variety of food for our family. We enjoyed it
It was a nice experience dining at Hana jurin . Food was delicious and great service. Me and my friend enjoyed the dining experience over all.
Expensive for the quality of food; shocking service; small servings. There are much better authentic Japanese restaurants around in Crows Nest, North sydney, Neutral Bay and the city. My family used to dine at this restaurant quite regularly but hadn't been back until recently-we were sorely disappointed.
Sushi and sashimi quality were good but too expensive. Service was alright. I don't think I would go back because this place is too overpriced.
Food comes too slow, limited choices of food, lots of food unavailable when we ordered Suggested to have a kids menu ( food with less salt and no MSG)
Lunch was nice and very good value. Recommend the lunch sets
Food was very nice. Only sashimi dishes were a bit slow.
Authentic sushi nice service can take long time some times
Very very expensive Resturant The food was so little The Resturant athmspher was very originally The service was so slow No parking close by The food wasn't that great Very disappointed
