Hanami Japanese Restaurant

Had a great meal. Services weren't bad but could improve by paying more attention to table service. I am very disappointed to say the amount of wasabi given was very stingy. Wasabi is an important part of Japanese meal especially for sushi and sashimi... this was a huge let down for us.

Went there with my family for my brothers birthday. Cozy place, nice service and great food. Set meals are great value and delicious. Sushi is massive and tasty! Really happy with the experience.

This is not authentic Japanese food. This is the first time we are eating tuna sushi with ice berg lettuce as the main filling. Not happy!

We love Hanami. Great food excellent service. We love the sashimi, tempura, beef tataki, as well as the choice of sets and rolls. It's a favourite in our house.

Great food. Very fresh. Extremely affordable. And the fact you can bring your own wine or beer is an extreme bonus. Very clean and the staff were all very friendly. Quite happy to visit here weekly.

Service was a bit slow but it was extremely busy so was expected, food was absolutely scrumptious and service after we received our food was pretty good

Amazing food. The tempura vegetables are out of this world! Lovely atmosphere and you can BYO ($2 corkage per person). Highly recommend. A range of sushi / sashimi also available

Great value. Great atmosphere. Great Service. Very accommodation with the birthday cake we brought, with no extra charge for providing 10 plates and forks. Will be back for sure.

We can always expect consistently fantastic food and great service when attending Hanami and make it a regular spot to dine with family and friends.

The food were all very tasty and the service was very quick. The menu was extensive and prices were quite reasonable. Loved the wagyu beef entree.

We come here at least once a month. Love the food. It is good value. Sashimi is the best. So fresh and good. Waiting time is short too

Went there for lunch at 12 noon so it is quiet. Very high quality food and I love it! Def. will be back! Already recommend this place to my friends and colleagues.

Great food, came out very fast once we ordered. Had some trouble getting the attention of waitstaff when we wanted to order as it seems the alert button was broken. We were towards the back of the restaurant and it took some time to get their attention.

They served really delicious food, especially tempura and koroke. Great service as well, attentive without being too invasive. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Delicious food, friendly atmosphere. The portions are quite large compared to other Japanese restaurants, so be careful you don't over-order (like we did). We'll be back.

All the dishes were good except for the tempura. The batter was super thick and overly crunchy and my fish was raw. Service is good, very friendly although could be faster.

The restaurant was busy but food arrived fast. It was hard to get service as they seemed a little short staffed. The Chirashi was ok. The Lotus Root chips were delicious.

This is our regular go-to local Japanese restaurant. The food quality is consistently very good. The service is attentive without being overbearing, the prices are reasonable, the restaurant itself very clean.

Nice relaxing atmosphere with good value food and beverages. We had the Luch set menu specials, a couple of entrees, sake and tea and was surprised with how inexpensive it all came out to be. Highly recommended.

The salmon sashimi is my favourite in Perth. All the other dishes we ordered were really good too. Will definitely be coming back to this place again.

The food is amazing, the service is brilliant. But like many restaurants with hard surfaces, the noise is difficult for " older" persons. Really difficult . Great at lunchtime when its not full.

Great, fresh and beautifully presented food. We had a great time and sat near the window on pseudo Japanese style tables. Recommended for couples and families.

I didn't like the Udon soup and Tempera. It was a little greasy and had too much batter. The fish was also uncooked and I didn't enjoy the dish at all. I love Tempera when it is cooked well so I was disappointed in my experience at this restaurant. My friend had the Beef Teriyaki and that, on the other hand was very nice.

Have been going to Hanami for a good few years now & never had a bad meal. The staff are very friendly & helpful. Go & ENJOY.

Food was very fresh, service quick and lovely to have chilled water rather than from the tap. We would recommend Hanami to friends. An enjoyable evening had by all.

The food was lovely but the service was inadequate. We had to go up to the counter twice to get the staff's attention. They were more focused on cleaning up tables then taking orders.

Good atmosphere and great food with great service. Pork Gyoza was tastier than the Prawn Gyoza. Beef Tataki was much nicer than the Tuna Tataki.

Frequented Hanami for over a decade, food has always been quite superb, however had not been for several months. Tried lunch and was sorely disappointed by the wait staff and sushi - prawn Nigri was chewy. Bento box was still great!

So disappointed on this occasion as last time we really enjoyed. We were rushed to order and then everything came all at once. One dish didn’t even arrive and after we placed our order, we never saw a staff member to get water or another drink or take away one of the 10 empty dishes. We spare no expense when we dine here but we won’t be going back any time soon. The food was good as always but service let them down.

Food was good as usual, looks like they’ve downsized some of their dishes which is a shame. Will be back as it’s our go to for a quick and reasonably priced meal？
