Good location and good service. Food never disappoint as always. They have few Japanese sitting tables that made the venue feel a little more traditional

The restaurant was busy but food arrived fast. It was hard to get service as they seemed a little short staffed. The Chirashi was ok. The Lotus Root chips were delicious.

Great food, a little slow to be served once seated but after we ordered the food came out very quickly and was all very nice.

This is our regular go-to local Japanese restaurant. The food quality is consistently very good. The service is attentive without being overbearing, the prices are reasonable, the restaurant itself very clean.

Excellent service, food was great although the sushi was a bit bulky and clumsy than we had previously. The rest of the dishes were amazing, still one of my favourites in Perth

Good casual place for a meal with friends. Food was good but service could more attentive. Their teppanyaki and grilled squid are amongst my favourite dishes.

Nice relaxing atmosphere with good value food and beverages. We had the Luch set menu specials, a couple of entrees, sake and tea and was surprised with how inexpensive it all came out to be. Highly recommended.

The salmon sashimi is my favourite in Perth. All the other dishes we ordered were really good too. Will definitely be coming back to this place again.

The food is amazing, the service is brilliant. But like many restaurants with hard surfaces, the noise is difficult for " older" persons. Really difficult . Great at lunchtime when its not full.

Great, fresh and beautifully presented food. We had a great time and sat near the window on pseudo Japanese style tables. Recommended for couples and families.

I didn't like the Udon soup and Tempera. It was a little greasy and had too much batter. The fish was also uncooked and I didn't enjoy the dish at all. I love Tempera when it is cooked well so I was disappointed in my experience at this restaurant. My friend had the Beef Teriyaki and that, on the other hand was very nice.

Have been going to Hanami for a good few years now & never had a bad meal. The staff are very friendly & helpful. Go & ENJOY.

Food was very fresh, service quick and lovely to have chilled water rather than from the tap. We would recommend Hanami to friends. An enjoyable evening had by all.

The food was lovely but the service was inadequate. We had to go up to the counter twice to get the staff's attention. They were more focused on cleaning up tables then taking orders.

Good atmosphere and great food with great service. Pork Gyoza was tastier than the Prawn Gyoza. Beef Tataki was much nicer than the Tuna Tataki.

Frequented Hanami for over a decade, food has always been quite superb, however had not been for several months. Tried lunch and was sorely disappointed by the wait staff and sushi - prawn Nigri was chewy. Bento box was still great!

So disappointed on this occasion as last time we really enjoyed. We were rushed to order and then everything came all at once. One dish didn’t even arrive and after we placed our order, we never saw a staff member to get water or another drink or take away one of the 10 empty dishes. We spare no expense when we dine here but we won’t be going back any time soon. The food was good as always but service let them down.

Food was good as usual, looks like they’ve downsized some of their dishes which is a shame. Will be back as it’s our go to for a quick and reasonably priced meal？

Lovely menu and polite staff. Meals are authentic Japanese, though we’ve not found it so easy to find Ton Katsu in Japan. Highly recommended for an authentic taste of Japan.

Food wAs delicious. The sashimi was fresh. We also got the octopus salad and beef tatami. They were tasty. Sushi was nice. Fast service. Definitively value for money.

Having just returned from Japan we were craving more of their wonderful food. Hanami was recommended and we were so glad we visited the restaurant. The staff were very attentive and efficient, (push the button on your table for service) it has a modern casual feel in atmosphere with a Japanese touch. The food was fantastic we enjoyed every dish, sharing was the way to go for us (5) and we could not finish all that we ordered. Will certainly return soon. Nancy W.

Service was slow but food good as usual. I felt the table was abit small if you call multiple dishes and they all came at the same time.

Food was bad. The salads had no taste and the main meals we had tasted like from as if we had ordered them from a food court in a shopping center.

The food here was good. My only suggestion would be the tempura batter could be lighter. BYO option is a plus. Will definitely be back.

We have been to Hanami many times and the food is delicious.My favourite is the soft shell crab and hubby's is bulgogi.Will definitely keep going back.

Food is good Japanese rucker Very busy local. Service excellent. Wines limited so definitely BYO option is a saver. Plenty of variety. All fish options have fresh taste.

Food (I had sushi and gyoza) was very good. Restaurant was comfortable if a bit noisy with tables close together. Service was fine. I would go again.

Favourite Japanese restaurant in Perth! Great bento sets especially the teriyaki beef - you can specify how you want it cooked! The green tea ice cream dessert is superb.

Great food and quick and attentive service. Only improvement would've to spread the tables out a little as we had to pull our chairs in so we weren't bumping into the table behind us.

The service is great, polite, fast and the food is fresh and amazing. I went twice in one weekend and will happily go again when the chance comes up. It was a great experience both times as the second time I sat in the front, in the traditional chairs where you take your shoes off.

Juts a few words to say, the food was good and the atmospshere was thoroughly enjoyable and the restaurant was well presented. If not just a tad loud, other then that would recommend.

Great food. Good service. Fun casual restaurant. Authentic Japanese food. Located away from the busy Mount Lawley bars. Good value for money. Must try the crispy chicken!
