The food was extremely average however the staff were excellent

I had the garlic prawn pasta which was very bland. Shaved pieces of garlic and no fresh chilli (although I requested it and was told it was already in the pasta). No citrus flavour. My friend had the chicken salad which also looked unappetizing but as I had suggested the location I was a bit embarrassed to ask how it was. Service was good but the food was bad.

Waiter seemed a bit confused and the food took forever. 2h for lunch (main and dessert, no entree), and there was only two other tables with 2 guests each. Food was ok though, tasted nice.

I’ve been here in the past and it’s been good, but the most recent trip wasn’t great. They only had one server on and whilst he was doing his best, it was still long waits from the kitchen.

Wonderful visit to Hatch& Co. Our waiter Kees was very friendly and had good knowledge of the menu. He was quick to service the table and take our order. Highly recommend.

The food was below average! A shame because it’s also expensive for what it is.

Food was great, love the spacious venue. Staff possibly a little overwhelmed— another waiter was probably needed. Our visit marred somewhat by squealing women at nearby table. Hatch has a simple approach that always works good food and wine reasonably priced.

We waited over 1 hour and a half for our food. No one told us there would be a wait until we asked about our food an hour after waiting.

Overall an average experience. Truffle and mushroom risotto, calamari and arancini quite nice. Steak and haloumi salad disappointing.

No waiting food came out quickly and staff were friendly.

The service honestly wasn't that fantastic. Also the rib fillet we got, which was $40 was very mediocre and overcooked

A return visit for a celebratory dinner this time. Fabulous food ... and extremely generous portions in the share plates (enough for four!). Thanks to Sam, our waitress again, who was run off her feet!

Always a great service and delicious food. Went there again with the current restrictions and they were welcoming and apologetic for the wait times, due to the small staff allowances (the wait times were not any longer than on a typical Sunday lunch time). Food was amazing and staff were great
