Extremely slow service and stressful environment. Our meals arrived about 45 mins after our drinks, and entree never came. We had to ask for it after our mains arrived and they seemed surprised. Went back to check their system and low and behold we had ordered an entree! Staff not apologetic at all. They were pleasant but seemed to be absolutely run off their feet, many didn't seem to have wait staff experience. It was quite a stressful environment to be eating in (sat inside) with the staff in that kind of frantic state. Two times one of them actually ran past us. Whoever is the manager or shift manager needs to roster on an appropriate amount of staff and teach them how to create an enjoyable atmosphere in the place. Also maybe put some more soft furnishings in it's very noisy. That said the food was really good. But very small servings. In these times of expensive meals out I didn't think it was worth it at all for the size of the meals or the experience. You can get a cheaper and bigger feed with better atmosphere plenty of other places in Crows Nest
We ordered the fajitas and we glad we didn't order more as it was perfect for 2. Really tasty. A few more chips on the side would have been welcome. The service was really good, and knowledgeable. Our meal did take 40 or so minutes though which we thought a bit slow
Diabolical... Kitchen is complete shambles and has zero method... Madness works be an improvement over what we witnessed with regards to what came out when.... 0 rhythm or rhyme with what dish came out next. Total time of over an hour from other until all 5 dishes (one for each person, one nachos sent back for being cold on arrival) ordered hit the table
Aamazing meals..!!...Great service...We booked online for outside dining but no table available so we sat inside...Noise levels from bar and diners very high...Our Enchiladas were very tasty and we enjoyed that very much...
Staff was great and friendly Tortilla chips and guac not big enough for price Good drinks More staff needed on Taco Tuesday?
Quandoo is closing down. This is a planned, phased process and our platform remains available until 30 September 2026.
Food was ok but the wait was too long and we witnessed a number of guests complaining to staff or they walked out of the restaurant.
Service & food wait times were terrible, hoping this is newly opened teething issues
Could not get seated, too busy. People were leaving while we were waiting to be seated due to the poor service
Great food and very friendly staff, tacos were awesome - definitely recommended
made a reservation but didn't have a table ready for us so had to stand around while they figured something out. ordered entrees and mains and waited over 40mins and my entrees came after my mains. Birria tacos just tasted like pulled beef in a corn tortia nothing special, loved the sneaky weekend rate added to bill to cap of the night reminds me of the USA.
Instead of water, they gave us a bottle of tequila; my friend does not drink alcohol, and she accidentally took a sip. So unprofessional, and no ID checks were conducted and no apologies were given. Waited 1 hour for our food, and when we asked how much longer, they kept on forgetting to come back and tell us the wait time. We finally gave up and had to leave, and then they notified us that they hadn't even started making our food yet. Have never had such a bad experience at a restaurant, and have never seen such a poorly run restaurant.
unfortunately one meal took a lot longer than the others
Really bad service. Staff was very slow and bad at communicating. We didn't get water for more than 40 minutes after asking three times. We then didn't receive food for more than hour. We were told food our friend's food was allergy free and then found said allergen on it. One of dishes had dry hard undercooked rice in it.
Delicious margaritas! Great vege options and wonderful service. Nice to sit outside also.
Food is average. Kitchen and bar are slow. We had a table of four(4) and food and drinks came out intermittently (e.g. 2 drinks arrived, then 5 minutes later the other 1 and then 2 minutes later the fourth drink). Had to ask for plates, napkins, cutlery. The. We had to ask for plates to be collected. Not going there again.
The food was ok, but won’t be rushing back. Also very crowded and noisy
Food was really good. The wait staff were friendly but seemed overwhelmed - I had to ask 3 separate staff for cutlery before getting some.
Short staffed, food came out only because we asked, it came out at different times. The food was alright but nothing amazing. Management needs to support the waiters by ensuring they have enough people for how busy it is in the weekend.
Food was fabulous but the wait time for drinks and food was dreadful. I think terribly understaffed. A shame as the food was great.
The service was confused and hopeless. There only 2 of us and our mains were delivered 25 minutes apart….40 and 65 Minutes after we ordered … and one dish was wrong and the other was missing half the ingredients. Everyone was complaining
Awful environment inside the restaurant. It’s all hard surfaces - impossible to have a converation, and it is like trying to eat inside a change room. In addition they had a weird smelling air freshener pumping inside the restaurant and it smelled gross - it made me wonder what are they covering up?
Amazing food, generous portions. We had a a most wonderful time!
He cup En Mexico - Crows Nest is an awesome place to spend the evening for dinner, the staff really catered for our family and specifically my youngest child’s requests. The staff were lovely and the food arrived really promptly especially for the kids meals. Will go again.
An experience staff should explain menu to customers have no idea drinking water glass dirty the chivken was crap hard pieces in it Desert chorizo over cooked hard and oily Will give a bad revue crows nest deserves better
Food was tasty ++++, great serve sizes so value dor $$$$. However we had a table of 7 and mains served over 40 minutes.
Great addition to the Crows Best dining scene, and good value
Really loved it, would prefer if food all came at same time and the frozen drinks need bigger straws not small paper ones
Terrible experience. Slow service. Average food. Noisy and very disorganised.
Great restaurant, the starters were out of this world good. The mains were lovely too but for my own preference needed more chilli. Sushir and Zara were fantastic fun and very accommodating servers.100% recommend this place.
Our visit was unfortunately disappointing from the start. There was no visible support from management for what was clearly a very inexperienced team, and it showed throughout the service. We were seated outside, and our sides arrived long before the mains—so early, in fact, that they were finished by the time our main dishes finally appeared. There didn’t seem to be any upper management guiding or assisting the young staff taking orders and serving food, and a number of mistakes were made without any apology. At one point, a waitress even seemed annoyed that we wouldn’t simply accept the errors. Another struggled to tell the difference between a Chardonnay and a Cab Sav, which added to the overall sense of confusion. The food itself was just OK, inconsistent, and tended toward soggy. Amid all this, one bright spot was a single waitress who smiled the entire time and was genuinely delightful. Unfortunately, everyone else seemed lost and overwhelmed. Overall, the lack of leadership and training was obvious, and it had a noticeable impact on the entire dining experience.
Great food. Service abit off but to be expected on first opening day. Will be back for the margs👌🏽🔥
