This menu looked so good ... unfortunately, the food was the worst I have tasted in years! The bao bun was just some bakery bought bun, grilled beyond recognition - awful & undecided if there was actually any chicken in the deep fried mass of crap within it. The kebabs were dry & tasted revolting, oil oozing out of them. The corn & purple yam cheesecake were nice though. Asked for water for the table - never even got that. Worse restaurant visit in years. No way was that an actual chef cooking that dinner. So overpriced!

Wasnt the most enjoyable meals we gave had, food andservice was very average. Probably wouldnt return.

The service was pretty slow and very patchy (some had to wait much longer for their meals than others and some had half their order way earlier than the second half) and the noise level was unacceptable as nobody could hear themselves speak (the restaurant needs noise-cancelling materials like curtains, for example). Very accommodating staff though and I personally enjoyed my meal but others had complaints (especially the burgers).

I was so disappointed with the food because the concept it great. But unfortunately, the food all tasted the same, corn was soggy and lamb was very fatty.

Images on website do not match the food portions served and the one waitress didn’t remember all aspects of the kids meal and we paid for it all.

Good food, quiet restaurant. Highly recommend the flaming iron steak.

Poor service poor food. They knew they sent my food out wrong but still gave it to me. Two people finished eating before the rest of us got our food. They focus too much on takeout food when dine in customers spend $ on drinks etc. Last time going there. I'm so embarrassed I picked that place for my birthday.

We had a 3 course meal, between is we shared the ribs, pork belly , purple cheese cake and the pannacotta - each course was absolutely to die for!

We had an amazing meal at Hey Griller with a 15 and 18 year old fussy eaters. They couldn’t not stop talking about how wonderful the food was. Philly Steak burger a hit, as was the Rogan Josh and Flame Steak but I think the best of the night were the entrees. Tastes that exploded in your mouth. Even the 15 year boy loved them! Crispy Pork Belly for main flambed was melt in your mouth. Fantastic dining experience with happy helpful staff.

Excellent skewers! Mocktails are pricey. Good drinks menu. Convenient parking. Excellent service.

This was fantastic experience, the staff where amazing outstanding service and food.

Food tasted great. My pink lemonade tasted no different to normal lemonade. Burgers said they came with chips and pickled vegetables but we saw no vegetables. Wasn't a lot of people, so not a lot of atmosphere but friendly service.

Dinner was amazing. So tasty and affordable. Only issue I had was the food for the whole table came out in drips and drabs. Everyone was eating at different times.

I cannot believe other diners could find the food acceptable. When walking up on a Saturday night and seeing about 8 people in the place we knew we should have turned around and walked away. But based on other peoples reviews we decided lets give it a try. Firstly the waitress had no idea about the drinks and could not pronounce the names even remotely close, I accept that language may be an issue. The food was a disgrace, the lamb shank was dry and had a rather unpleasant taste with a gravy that must have been made from a packet. The chicken tenderloins had a strange flavour and my wife could not eat them. Pity, as the menu sounded amazing when looking at it before going to the place.

Atmosphere was nice Quality meal well balanced with Asian fusion flavours, desert was a wonderful taste experience .overall was a nice place to dine .would come back again

Great food. Very fast service. Great friendly staff. Small but tidy dining area. Good selection on the menu, a wide range of choices. Overall very happy. Will be going again to try some other choices on the menu.

all our mains came at different times, the sides came after we finished mains. the grilled fish was so dry and over cooked we took it home to feed the dogs and they even turned their nose up at it. My ribs, well they were like they were left over from the day before and reheated and some fresh sauce slapped on them, the meat was dry as and over cooked as well. can't believe you're destroying Matt Sinclair's name in your advertising. one of the worst meals we've had in Perth in the last 3 years. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Staff didn't even know what percentage there beer on tap was. #Matt Sinclair, hope you see what these people are doing to your reputation.

The service was scattered even though the place was almost empty. The main came out before entree. First person got served dessert and there was a decent gap before the other person received theirs.

Staff were efficient & very friendly. Food was served quickly and as table of 8 we enjoyed it very much. Just beware the skewers, tasted a little like the BBQ grilling coals. Apart from that would definitely recommend. Prices reasonable

The food and the drink is absolutely amazing, these guys really do it well. Smoked pork ribs are something else., I highly recommend it folks.

Apon arrival my initial reaction was it looked better on the web (Picture) than what i was seeing but once inside the ambiance was nice and the wait staff friendly and helpfull. The food started out ordinary. Entres Pork belly mini wrap. This was cold and the pork belly over cooked, hard and dry. The scallops were very fishy smelling which is a good indication of lacking freshness. The mains were good the scewers were cooked well and spicy had lots of flavour. I liked them. Sweet patatoe chips also were a winner. Desert was good but $12 each $24 for both deserts not anywere near worth that. Overall it was disapointing i had looked forward to eating there. Will i eat there again. No.

Although the food was a bit of a let down (burnt pork belly and overcook bao's), the service was really great. The staffs were friendly and quick to serve us.

Lovely service and a good range of options on the menu. Peach salad was amazing and fresh to compliment all the meat.

Great place and great service. Service was a little slow but after tasting food I can see why - they were cooking food to perfection. Husband said one of the best steaks ever. Worth a visit.

Really poor standard. Went on a Saturday night at 6pm so they should have been on their A Game - but the food was such a poor standard. Ordered the lamb shank - extremely dry, over spiced shank sitting on a thin smear of lumpy sweet potato mash, with a small pot of lumpy and congealed gravy. Burger was ordinary and once again over spiced so totally overshadowed the small amount of meat. Cannot believe these guys rate so high because our meal certainly wont have us coming back.

Very enjoyable experience. We arrived for an early booking and were only the second table in the place, however slowly but surely a number of groups turned up and the place started to liven up. The food was different, clean and very tasty - you could tell the chefs knew how to cook delicious food!. The service was efficient and the two girls were warm and smiling. Great overall value. Will definitely be back!

Really friendly service from staff, food was really good, size of the servings was not disappointing. Would definitely visit again, want to try the steak!
