History Cafe Wine Bar & Grill

Came here with another couple and we had two small babies with us-the team couldn’t possibly have been more helpful-food and coffee was also great-will be revisited when I’m back in the area.

Great party atmosphere. My first time here for dinner on a Friday night. A week night might be better for dinner. Hard to hold a quiet conversation. Live music and would be a great night out with the girls so I will round them up and come back.

The food was very good quality, beautifully cooked and serving size was spot on. The waiting staff were good and not overbearing. The main negative was a lack of ambiance.

Very good variety in menu, wine and beers on offer, light casual atmosphere, friendly staff and adequate pricing. Overall a pleasant casual dining experience. Plenty of on street parking as well.

The food and service was really good, a great local eatery. Would definitely go back and recommend to others. We met the owner and chef, and they seem like very nice people too.

The evening was enjoyable. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The food was delicious. The choice of food was good. We tried the crispy pork, the Barrumundi and the Mushroom Risotto and we were all pleased with our meals. The restaurant was lovely - cafe style.

Not the first visit for my wife and I but it was for our friends. Our favourite whether it be for coffee after gym, for a light lunch or a more substantial meal like today. The slow cooked lamb shank was tops and my wife can't resist the crispy skin barramundi. Our friends enjoyed their burger and calamari. Prices are reasonable and good value. Service is friendly and prompt.

I would totally recommend this place, it has a really comfortable vibe and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. Most importantly the food is good too!

This was our first time at History and we were pleasantly surprised. Great service, wide range of choices on the menu and excellent food. Would definately go back.

Unfortunately not a nice experience for our work breakfast. Yep of our meals came without eggs! It was a breakfast dish- we had to ask for coffees again after 25mins.

We had an absolutely wonderful evening at History tonight celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary. The band was great and the food and wine delicious. Highly recommend.

Good food and wine, and from the 19 year old to the 63 year old In our group we all enjoyed the live Friday night music. I am really happy to have found such a great local restaurant.
