HUX Grill Penrith

The food was good but they totally missed a meal and when we asked about it we were told they were plating it up. Then after we had all finished the missing meal finally arrived. We did not end up worrying about it and that person did not eat. Very disappointing service.

Lovely meal, will dine there again. Shared the ribs platter for two but could easily have had that between three people 👍🏽 Service was good.

A very nice meal, terrific steak very well cooked. Certainly one, if not the best steak dinner I've had. Good service from attentive & friendly staff. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Always great service and food very professional take my hat off to this hard working family quite often see mum and Bub in the restaurant and working to keep customers happy jay is lovely and they go above and beyond to make sure the guests are happy. Thank you for bringing a decent restaurant back to Penrith !

Got the ribs, they fell off the bone and tasted amazing. Bit of a wait on the food but was worth it, will be going back again

A friend had raved about the wagyu steak from a previous visit. We purchased the shared sample meal and all found the steak to be dry and over cooked. I mentioned it to one of the staff and nothing was done about it. Very disappointed.

The food was absolutely divine, the staff were all so friendly. We will definitely be back so we can try more of the menu 👌🏼

We booked a special Octoberfest dinner on the 12th August, almost 2 months prior to the date. Staff called to confirm the reservations on the date of the booking (8th October), all was confirmed for our arrival at 7.45pm, We arrived around 7:30pm to ensure we were there to greet our guests, they could not find our booking, fortunately for us the lady who called was there and confirmed we had a booking, they quickly arranged a table for us. No drink orders were taken for some time, 6 of 8 had arrived by 8:15, and we still no drink order was taken until we flagged a waiter. All guests had arrived by 8:30. We ordered the banquet, we waiting for over an hour for our entrée of one piece of garlic bread each, then another 15mins for the other entrée component chicken wings again one piece each. We waiting again for the mains around 30mins or so, they apologized and offered a round of drink, but wait you guessed it waiting again must have been 15-20 mins before they were served. Mains served, it was good but I cannot say great, previous times I have eaten there the food was great. The menu clearly said 3 course including pork knuckles schnitzels bratwurst sauerkraut German beers apple and cherry strudels, when we asked about the beer we were told no not included, however they could for those who wanted could change the desert for a beer. Overall average experience and poor service particularly compared to our previous visits which were great, if this was my first time it would be unlikely I would return.

My second time to Hux Grill and the food was amazing again! Staff were friendly and the owner even checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking.

Every time I come I have had an enjoyable and delicious experience. The staff are friendly and know the menu well. The food was delicious as always and it is a big serving which fills me up! All around our table people were happy with their meals and the way the food especially the meat was cooked. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants 😊

Outstanding night, the team at Hux Grill were very welcoming and the meals A+. Would recommend this restaurant in a heart beat. Thanks Hux Grill, we will be returning again soon.

Amazing food as always great service and always a great price !

The steak was undone to what was ordered and the quality of the meat did not match the price charged. However the burgers were very good though. Service was pleasant but a bit slow.

The Ribs are the best in Sydney, with the rib share platter being excellent value for money. Fast and efficient service always. A must go for any meat lovers.

The food was great and so was the service but the music was FAR too loud. We could hardly hear each other across the table

Awesome food, great service, meals brought out quickly. Music a little too loud though, you have to have a very loud conversation. Other than that its great!

Customer service was fantastic and food was delicious! The only issue was they cooked my hubby steak wrong. Other then that we would definately go their again!

I didn't like the good at all. The ribs had no flavor the chicken was burnt the salad had half a cherry tomato. My husbands medium to rare 6 score steak was chewy. The only thing I liked were the chips. You would think for the price it would be perfect

Had a tomohawk each and $1 brownies best value food best tasting food around !!? Service is always fast !! A few new girls waitressing who were wonderful !

The atmosphere is lovely. Both the food and wine were yummy. Our waitress was very attentive and the service was great. The only negative was the rude girl who we first spoke to when we arrived which made us feel quite unwelcome. Another staff member heard the way in which we were spoken to and apologized to us. If it wasn't for the rude girl I would have given them top marks.

Seating position was terrible, too close to bar, kitchen & large function. Draught from kitchen was cold. Food okay but my steak was half gristle.

The staff were friendly and the food on a whole was good. The pork belly entre let them down. The crackle was soft . Also the wine selection was poor. No nice wines. But we did enjoy

Hux grill never fails us each and every time. They were quite busy but with that quality and service we wouldn't mind waiting. Keep up the good work 👍😊

Outstanding steaks perfectly cooked, service very attentive a little on the pricey side but given the quality of the food I could not complain. The only downside was the amenities that were very tired and were in need of a major upgrade, time to get the landlord spend some money.

Great steaks and cold beers fantastic service would recommend Hux if you're in the Penrith area. Call an hour before hand if there are 2 of you and have the 1.3kg Tommahawk Rib Eye Steak.....

Food was great! Very filling. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to go out for dinner to visit Hux Grill :) can't wait to go again!

Very friendly staff and excellent service during the night. Wonderful steaks and the ribs also look amazing. We didn't order them this time but definately will next time!

This was our first visit to Hux Grill at Penrith and it did not disappoint. We absolutely loved everything we ordered and the service was fantastic.

Greatly enjoyed my time at Hux grill. Service was lightning fast and the food was nice. Would go back again in a heartbeat. Food came out quick also

The food was excellent ! For a wednesday night the place was packed! Even though they were busy the quality of food & service was incredible ! Will recomend to Friends & Family & definitely will eat there again!

Sure there was a bit of a wait but it was expected being one of the busiest days of the year- fathers day! The food was and always is delicious and the wait will not deter us from coming back! 10/10

love going to his grill meat is always cooked so we'll we really enjoy it highly recommend it to anyone that love a good steak

I would consider our experience as average. Service was average and food was average. We found parts of our meals to be cool. We were expecting much better.

Lovely food, we were surprised and delighted to be located in the private dining area, something special for the bday girl, also great for the kids and for the adults who didn't want to miss out on footy finals. Thanks HUX Grill!

Good flavour and good service very happy until we received the cheap chewy cut of meat.... I told the waitress who very politely shrugged her shoulders and left it like that.

Waited a long time for the meal to come and food was average after the anticipation of it being good we were very disappointed probably wouldn't go back

Meal was tasty and good value. Wait staff inexperienced and require more trading/supervision. Quite old for an informal meal.Wine list not overpriced including wines by the glass.

Great and fast service, the food is delicious! I love steak and HUX get it right every time - always juicy and tender. We go to HUX for lunch and dinner and they are kid friendly so we love to take the family too.

Staff were friendly and always around , we didn't go without .. Food was amazing , serving sizes were out of this world !! Enjoyed every bit of our meal and will happily return .. Great value for money

Staff were friendly and the food was amazing. What more could you ask for... I had the grilled salmon and was cooked perfectly. Will definitely recommend this place. Pricing was reasonable for a good size dish. Go check it out.

we luved the food very much the only fault is that we got the group booking deal $49 per person and they brought out good sizes of meat but when they brought the veges out for 6 people there wasnt enough there was 1 corn cob..... ummm to share wot a bite each. honestly thats all i can say otherwise extremely happy

Waitresses were super friendly! However they seemed to forget small things eg table water. For how busy they were service was prompt, and food was DELICIOUS!!!

The food was great, we had the pork ribs, pork belly burger and kids meal - steak and spaghetti. However we waited over 40mins for our main meal after the entree, it didn't help when you have two hungry kids who haven't eaten dinner at 8:30pm. It would have been a good experience if the service was quick.

Rather a disappointing meal for a restaurant we were quite excited to try. Whilst four main meals were delicious (Lamb shanks, Grilled Chicken, Scotch Fillet and a Chicken Burger) two mains were less than an expected standard. A Plain Hamburger had a dry over-cooked meat patty and a Porterhouse steak was so full of gristle that the meal was less than enjoyable. In addition a red wine was served that was corked. This was replaced without fuss so that was a positive and the service was attentive and pleasant.
