HUX Grill Penrith

Went there for a special, got charged $2 extra than what was stated in the special. But the food was pretty good, so I let it pass. The only other issue was that they burnt the edges the medium rare steak we ordered and mixed up who got what steak. But easy mistake as we both ordered the same thing. So all in all, pretty good!

Love this place. Great food and wine. We will be going back again and again. Would love to try the tomohawk challenge. Highly recommend Hux grill

Steak cooked perfectly. Staff very attentive & professional. Kids meals really small for 10 & 12yo. Slow to get main meals but worth the wait for a good steak.

We attended Hux for the first time for a birthday dinner. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Can't wait to get back to Hux to taste more of the menu!!

food was sensational, unfortunately table service was a little disappointing on this last visit. I have been here before and service was good - but not this time.

Food was fantastic, Staff were lovely but the service was extremely slow. We waited over an hour for our food. Was worth the wait as the food was amazing but wish meals didnt take as long to come out and more service for drinks would be ideal

As always food was great food. Price of meals is very reasonable and size of meals are pretty big. Service was a little slow but they were busy.

Once again another fantastic meal! The food is always great the staff are great and we will continue to go back at this is our restaurant of choice!

Steak was amazingly tasty. Ribs were awesome. Awesome serving sizes also. Staff were very attentive but not overwhelming. All in all we had a wonderful experience.

Nice clean restaurant that has a lovely variety of food on the menu. Service was great we were seated straight away and the drink and food came out on time. The steak was slightly over cooked but nothing to complain about. The choice of sides with the steaks are great value & the onion rings are delicious. Great outdoor seating area which we will defiantly try next time!

My family loves this place, We have been a couple times now and the food is amazing! The best meat I've ever tasted! The only thing I didn't like was the pictures on the walls of the animals we were consuming, I know a few of the guests at our tables said the same thing, It's a little off putting.

Steaks were so tender & tasty. Excellent for mains. A little slow with service & waiting for mains & disappointed with wine selection as ordrred 2 different wines off menu & they were both not available. Overall very nice & would recommend to friends.

Great food excellent service. Would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys meat. The rib platters were juicy and the meat just fell off the bone

Food was extraordinary, steaks cooked perfect. Presentation was good. Environment felt abit like home dining. Waitresses were very organized, not to mention beautiful. Will definitely return again with the family.

It was a little wait for dinner, but great atmosphere, service was great, food was great... The lamb ribs were a wee bit fatty. Dessert was great... Overall good night - thank you

Hux was amazing with great food, friendly staff and a Lovely atmosphere . There were eight of us and all our meals came together, my family and I cant wait to go there again.

Hux Grill, such a nice place and the food is amazing. The staff are friendly and always there to offer assistance. Even though it was a busy night, they never let it show and always get the meals out tasting and looking great. Highly recommended..

once again we had an amazing dinner and service was really fast and food came out quick we had the rib platter and it was fantastic and our grandaughter who doesnt usually eat meat loved eating the ribs

Rather a disappointing meal for a restaurant we were quite excited to try. Whilst four main meals were delicious (Lamb shanks, Grilled Chicken, Scotch Fillet and a Chicken Burger) two mains were less than an expected standard. A Plain Hamburger had a dry over-cooked meat patty and a Porterhouse steak was so full of gristle that the meal was less than enjoyable. In addition a red wine was served that was corked. This was replaced without fuss so that was a positive and the service was attentive and pleasant.

The food was great, we had the pork ribs, pork belly burger and kids meal - steak and spaghetti. However we waited over 40mins for our main meal after the entree, it didn't help when you have two hungry kids who haven't eaten dinner at 8:30pm. It would have been a good experience if the service was quick.

I would highly recommend this place!!!! The good is absolutely amazing 😃 Great service, great vibes. Really good priced aswell. I recommend the meat platter to share between 2, it was huge and so many different types of meat and also get a few sides of your choice.. Amazing

The restaurant was very busy last night, it took over an hour before we got our mains and some of the sides were cold. Overall the meals were cooked very well. Perhaps serving the meals when they are ready rather than waiting until the whole groups to be served at the same time would be better.

Had the tomahawk steak and it was awesome to eat. And the best service from the girls. I would recommend. But u have to book in advance for the table and the tomahawk steaks

Had the Tues to Thurs Hux for $15 Bux lunch special. The menu has limited choices for this special but certainly enough variety to please at the price. Hubby had the Boscaiola, Son had the Hux Cheeseburger with chips and I had the Wagyu Minute steak with chips and salad. We all enjoyed the food- it was simple and fresh- a glass of wine and quite happy. Good food and great deal. Will be back!

We waited 45 mins for them to take our order the waitresses we rude and more interested in looking at themselves in the window reflection than actually listening to what we wanted. The steak was delicious but all cooked completely wrong ( I ordered medium and it came out practically mooing still)

Steak not cooked as requested, asked for medium rare and was bordering on blue. Service was not particularly good, we felt as if we were being rushed to get out of there as soon as we arrived.

Absolutely loved it, fabulous food and fantastic customer service. Will definitely go back again. They went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves.

We went to Hux Grull on 14/08/2016 to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was absolutely devine, honestly could not fault the food. We didnt have to wait long to recieve our meals or drinks. The best steaks in Sydney!

First time visiting HUX grill. As an overall experience, not so great. Loud, very warm inside the restaurant, the table next to us were also complaining it was to hot. The food, we ordered the $18.00 burgers, and were very disappointed. You would have to dislocate your jaw to get your mouth around it. Why they have to stack them so high is beyond me. They say the burgers are cooked pink, and if you want them cooked through to ask. We did not ask, and they came to the table so overcooked, dry and actually burnt around the edges. The bun...sweet and way to small to cover the burger and rest of ingredients. The fries were delish. Our daughter had a childs Rump and Chips. I've never seen a rump steak that small. She was still hungry and wanted another. For $12 it should be all about the steak. We are wondering if the Chef is actually tasting the food they serve. Because I doubt they'd agree it's good enough for the price. Wouldn't mind paying extra, if more attention is paid to what is being put on the plate. The best part of the evening was our server. She was lovely.

Service was below average we had been forgotten about. My steak was over cooked (asked for medium came out near almost well done) and the pork ribs were bland. Sides were ok but over all it was below average

The service was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful. My mum is a ceoliac and they caterered for her very well, if staff didnt know what was in something they found someone who did. My Food was delicious and served hot and in reasonable time, however my husband and son did not feel the T Bone was up to scratch. I did feel the music was a little loud.

Fantastic restaurant - the staff are super friendly and helpful. Food is brilliant! Love the share menu - recommend it to everyone. My only downside - and it is purely a personal taste, I don't particularly like the selection of white wine on the menu - but that's just me - it's certainly not a good enough reason to stay away!!!

Penrith has been needing a place like this. A great steak at a good price with awesome customer service! For the first time in a long time, hubby and I walked out of a restaurant feeling totally satisfied with the experience! We will be regular Hux Grill patrons from now on :)

The tables just seemed too close together. Food, staff and atmosphere were perfect. Recommend booking as it's popular. Prices very reasonable for the product served.

Food was fabulous. The service was very average. Had to wait a while for drinks and then about 20mins for water glasses cause they ran out.

Had to wait awhile. Some meat wasn't cooked how it was requested. Have had it better at Hux before

Lovely, delicious food! Would definitely come here again, love the waygu rump steak, unbelievably tender! Reasonably priced. Decor could do with an update but you go for the food!!

The food and service was great I was just disappointed with the extra I added to our meal King Prawns which were $9.00 and I got four tiny prawns besides that it was great.

Staff welcomed us as soon as we arrived. Service was great with our drinks coming our very fast and didn't wait too long for our food either. No faults at all!

I took my partner for her birthday we had the shared rib pack with 3 sides it was beautiful i do recommend the food what did bug me was the poor service we recived right from the start instead of a hello we got a did you make a booking.. the couple bwhind us where white there grettings were hello can i have your booking number please.. other than that i will go there for an other date with my darling along with a few family we recommend to hux grill you gave my tastebuds a blast thank you

The service was good all staff were polite and friendly. Food was excellent, we had the ribs platter to share and there was so much food terrific value for money!
