We ordered coffee after meal but they could not serve as their coffee machine was broken (very Aussie). I requested the best seat available as we invite our VIP but they provided the seat near entrance, even the restaurant wasn't full on Monday evening. I ordered beef pie but there was no pastry covered.

Hux Grill Penrith has a great vibe even on a Monday night. The staff was attentive without being over the top. The meals were huge, tasty and served hot. The winner for me was the crumbed rack of lamb. It was the envy dish of the day. The pie was disappointing as it was topped with cheesy mash instead of nice flaky pastry. 2 points they could improve on would be to supply real plates and spoons for serving the cake instead of plastic. They also need to review the cleanliness of both the men and ladies toilets. We look forward to a return visit

They had an extremely generous serving size of meals. Price was competitive and the staff were very pleasant. We will be back! Really enjoyable experience.

The food was nice but we were sat in front of an open door on an extremely cold night. It seemed there was a function in the other room where the door should have been open to the outside so instead we were extremely uncomfortable and cold with a very unapologetic waitress who refused to move us anywhere else. This did put a dim on my birthday dinner with friends and we couldn't wait to leave and have cocktails elsewhere where it was more comfortable.

The food and service was great I was just disappointed with the extra I added to our meal King Prawns which were $9.00 and I got four tiny prawns besides that it was great.

Very friendly attentive service. Lovely meal. Good atmosphere.i wasn't overly fussed on the music played but it was modern and up beat. Enjoyable night overall.

I took my partner for her birthday we had the shared rib pack with 3 sides it was beautiful i do recommend the food what did bug me was the poor service we recived right from the start instead of a hello we got a did you make a booking.. the couple bwhind us where white there grettings were hello can i have your booking number please.. other than that i will go there for an other date with my darling along with a few family we recommend to hux grill you gave my tastebuds a blast thank you

Always great food and service! Love the mash potato and the ribs and steak are cooked to perfection. Yummy desserts to finish with that aren't over the top.

The only reason I didnt give it the top mark was I had hoped the service would be a little quicker for a lunch. Wouldnt have bothered me for dinner.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Hux Grill, with my sales & administration staff. Staff were very helpful and friendly, our meals were a generous size and very tasty. Back ground music was at a good level, so we could hear each other speak. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone and would go back again. Well done!!

Quick friendly service. Steak was cooked to perfection. Staff made sure we were looked after checking if our meal was ok antic we required moredrinks or water.

The food is delicious and generally pretty consistent. The service is a bit up and down, it feels like the staff are a bit under trained and not in line with the quality of the food.

Service wasn't great. Waited 10 minutes to order a drink and no one came to ask if we would like another. Asked for desert menu but it never came. Dinner wasn't very nice. Pretty dissaponted. 😞

Staff welcomed us as soon as we arrived. Service was great with our drinks coming our very fast and didn't wait too long for our food either. No faults at all!

The food is always great at hux grill. However, whilst the wait staff is friendly, you are waiting for them to come back and check on you all the time. We ordered water for the table, and while it was on the receipt, we never received it. To prebook the shared steaks the website says to ring. I could not get through at all from 1230-1730 and emailed instead. The reply I got back was not even meant to be addressed to me, and whoever it was who replied back wasn't very professional either. In the end, my group had a great time but the service is lacking.

I absolutely love the food at hux however, this visit was an unfortunate one. The service was terrible, the food was cold and the ribs my husband had weren't as wonderful as he had had before.

Food was excellent, as always, but disappointed that we had to wait for more than 10 minutes before a waitperson came to ask if we would like drinks. It was very busy when we arrived.

The quality of the meat cut was good. However it would have been a lot more enjoyable if they cooked it better. Everything was really salty. From the meat to the vegetables. Also felt it was really over priced for what you were getting... maybe if they used less salt they could cut costs there... Also had the oysters Kirkpatrick as a starter. Half were cooked warm and delicious and the other half was still borderline frozen. Was also not really impressed by the wait time. Tables that had arrived after us were getting their food before us. We waited about an hour for our mains. Food presentation was also hit and miss. The oysters were presented beautifully, but then my partners burger looked like it was prepared by a underpaid teenage mcdonalds worker. Kinda disappointed with this one. Not really worth the hype.

This was our 2nd time back at Hux Grill and our experience once again was fantastic. Even better that the kids ate free this time.

the venue itself is very nice. The staff is very friendly. The majority of the food was good and well presented. Well worth a visit.

The staff had great service and very friendly and the meals were great, I will be going back there. The prices are very reasonable and restaurant was very clean.

We really enjoyed dining at Hux grill. The food was delicious and the service was good. We will definitely consider going again. I had the lamb shanks and thoroughly enjoyed them.

Steak is delicious. Meals are generous size. You never go home hungry, even if you share. Owners are very friendly and happy to chat. Only criticism is that I think they could do with more waitresses.

The eye fillet is amazing medium rare, best steak in Penrith. try it with the truffle butter, fennel salad and hand cut chips. they also had my favorite beer little creatures pale ale in the bottle.

Great food. Amazing steak... I would recommend the waygu. I gave it a five and not a 6 because our medium rare tomahawk came out blue and we had to send it back for more cooking

Food was delicious. Too many LED lights takes away the classy ambience (makes it look too cafeteria). Did well with birthday cake and candles. Would come back

Very busy night but service was great. The steak was perfectly cooked and the sides were delicious. Best steak place in Penrith. Great for families and groups.

Excellent food and excellent service. Best Chicken Schnitty I have had in a long time and I liked the look of the ribs which I might try next time
