Or, you could choose something from the a la carte menu which includes all of the Japanese favourites like sushi, sashimi, fried and grilled food and rice and noodle dishes. Delivering fresh and authentic Japanese cuisine since 1962, chef Ibuki is one of the most revered and respected culinary artists in Melbourne, and when dining at Ibuki House, it’s pretty clear why. If omakase isn’t to your fancy, why not select some tapas-style dishes to share – we love the ebi tempura maki, which is thick sushi roll with tempura prawn, cucumber, avocado, mayo with tobiko, grilled salmon in teppanyaki or miso sauce, katsu don of pork schnitzel on rice or perhaps tempura udon in a hot udon noodle broth.
