Ichirin Japanese Food

The food was good but not a wow for the price tag of omakase. Service was good. It took a bit long for the food to be served, would be good if the serving of food can be a bit quicker. But will come back to try the ala carte.

Always excellent. Managed to be there for some fresh local blue eye tuna. Love the omakase and it’s mashed by the lovely vibe of the place.

As usual, Ichirin never fails to deliver. I had the tempura with rice and miso soup. Tempura was fried to perfection, crispy but not oily. Could tell that fresh ingredients were being used. I usually have an aversion to prawns but their prawn tempura was fresh, succulent and missing that fishy taste! Miso soup was piping hot, rice was soft and delicious. Another pleasant dining experience.

We found the best Japanese restaurant in Perth, truely a hidden gem. As a Japanese I am fussy with food and they ticked all the boxes. The most impressive is the attention to detail and presentation of the food. We will definitely try OMAKASE (six course degustation) next time.

Have been to Ichirin a few times. Chef Shiro never fails to disappoint. I had the Omakase and each course was outstanding with excellent presentation taste texture and freshness. The skill and artistry in the preparation of each dish right down to the dessert exceeded all expectations. Also ordered a few dishes from the ala carte menu softshell crab kakiage salmon otoro and prawn tempura always leavescyou wanting more and consistently good. Will definitely be back again and again in 2021. Chef Shiro and his team deliver prompt and courteous service at each visit and the quality flavours and authenticity of the food served is unquestionably among the best you will find in Perth

A great little restaurant with delicious food and excellent value 6 course set menu. My only little gripe is that I feel that on a busy Saturday night when they are full, they should focus less on takeaway customers and more on those in the restaurant.
