We enjoyed every aspect of our visit to Ichirin. Staff were helpful and efficient. They were particularly attentive to my need for gf dishes and served the most delicious rankin cod with a potato starch coating. My favourite dish was the miso eggplant - the most subtle exquisite flavours. Good choice of seafood dishes along with excellent sashimi. Walnut icecream perfect to round off our meal. Such reasonably priced delicious meal. Take your own alcohol if desired. It’s a very small space so book ahead! You will be delighted.

It was my first time.. I ordered King Snapper fish teriyaki, and my son had the bento. Both dishes were nice, the seafood was fresh. We really enjoyed. Will visit again.

Attention to detail is a persistent trait at Ichirin. My brother dropped his chopsticks, with seconds Owner Shiro noticed and had waiter replace them without us asking. Food was on point as usual 👌

The food there is really good. However, we missed out on the blue fin tuna gozen because the restaurant ran out of that dish. Luckily I got to try the pan fried teriyaki kingfish which was really good. The fish was cooked perfectly. Will come back again to try their omakase

Neighbourhood gem, friendly staff. Ordered Ichirin Bento which had a lovely variety. Very small restaurant so highly recommend to book. All the tables filled up shortly after the restaurant opened.

The kitchen air extractor was broken down on a hot day, leading to very hot conditions inside the restaurant, and the air-conditioning also didn't appear to be working or effective. While understanding that these factors are outside the control of staff, we weren't offered the option of sitting outside when we arrived which was an option it would turn out, but worse, the staff were really inattentive. Previous experiences have been better so do try this restaurant for the food, but this visit was a real let down.

My only complaint is the rice served with bento set & main meal is a bit soggy, the rice used for sushi & omakase were perfect, would appreciate if you could improve this.
