Good value, good food, given the night service was a little slow at times, but had to ask 3 times for air con to be turned down before it was and then it was the wrong one. but this will not stop me from going back and enjoying the place again

Lovely service and relaxing atmosphere. Full of Indian decor. The food was very tasty but the lamb was a bit tough. Either it was slightly overcooked or dry. The cheese and garlic naan was soft, and it smelt and tasted delicious.

Food was fabulous and plentiful, rolled out so full. Staff were very attentive & monitored food spacing so you didn't feel rushed.

The best Indian Food in Melbourne. I have been going to Ameer then Indian Star, following Sunil (owner & chef) for nearly Forty Years. I have never been disappointed. Always great, quality food at a good price. Beautiful decor and settings also. I would highly recommend Indian Star to all.
