It was a very casual restaurant, the service was very slow, there were a few tables and only 1 staff working (Sam) who was friendly. The food was delicious and I will go back for the food.
Amazing food. Ridiculously cheap. Fantastic service. You must order the chicken wings, the issan sausage, the friend banana and the noodles. Actually order everything it's delicious.
Food is really different from other Thai I am used to. In addition to spicy, it is more sour and less sweet. I like the Pennang curry, but it is still too hot for me.
We've been back several times since we were taken there by the friends who discovered this little gem. The food is consistently excellent and everything seems to be cooked on the spot, which makes it a little slower but fresh and delicious. Best black bean sauce I've had - subtle and supporting the food, rather than overwhelming it. Prices are reasonable, staff are friendly and helpful, and I love the red-themed makeover - we took a friend and had a great time.
