With a name like Jatt Flava, you might easily guess that Indian cuisine is the order of the day, but this is an Indian restaurant that stands about almost all others in Brisbane. Their take on the traditional flavours of the subcontinent includes both the classics of the genre that are beloved by the dining public of Australia and the regional specialities that are lesser seen on these shores, so even the most dedicated curry connoisseur will be able to find something new to enjoy. You can find them at the Fortitude Valley end of Brunswick Street, close to where it crosses with Robertson Street, and when you arrive we’d recommend choosing one of the banquets to maximise your options. Go for a mild butter chicken, a spicy beef madras and a veggie-friendly aloo mattar tamater, with spuds, peas and tomato, as well as a house signature such as patiyala baigan, Indian stir-fried aubergine, all mopped up with a naan or two. Book a table though, as they well get busy from time to time.

Lovely and friendly staff. Cute little restaurant. The food was great and as described. Give the cheese and garlic naan a try, you will be pleased. :)
Booking was taken but when we arrived at the restaurant it was closed. I would have given a 0 if the opportunity was available to do so.
