Jose Jones accommodated a large group of 20 really well, with plenty of delicious food and friendly service. Great value for money, would definitely come again!

Was looking forward to the Spanish fiesta, however was very disappointed!!!! Food was luke warm, possibly even reheated, potato bravas were reheated potato wedges, paella glugy. The tacos were tasty however very difficult to eat as they were very soggy and the chicken need seasoning. Compared to my last visit, very disappointing.

The food and service is always great. I have been quite a few times and never been disappointed. Great atmosphere and always very friendly and chatty.

We booked a table before a show at Anita’s theatre. The ambience was wonderful & food exceptional. Will definitely visit again soon, my husband said he’d feel comfortable to take clients there as well.

The food and atmosphere were great. very relaxing. after a day at work. all staff were very helpful and pleasant. will be returning in the future

My last dining experience @ Jose’s was very disappointing, expensive and wasn’t even that great. It had taken a while to get back there. Food has improved, service was great, much better than my last dining experience @ Jose’s.

The cocktails were amazing! Very talented barman. Good service and very friendly staff. Cosy atmosphere. The food was very tasty. Definitely recommend trying this restaurant

great nite we are glad we booked as was very busy. staff were excellent,it was a cold nite but had heaters and even offered blankets we were happy with our meal and the cocktails were great. we will be back when next visit to the coast thanks

Friendly staff and great atmosphere and outdoor layout. Very massive, yummy burgers. Good value for money :) Would definitely go to again and highly recommend.

With a big group the service was excellent and food very good.

When it’s busy which it always is on weekends it’s very noisy inside. You really have to yell across your table to be heard. We simply picked the wrong restaurant for the kind of experience we wanted to have. It’s otherwise a great, vibrant local joint with good food.

Food was lovely and service was excellent. Just a pity we had to sit outside in the cold when I had booked online a few weeks in advance and wasn't given the option of where to sit.

Great environment and food. It was very busy, but the service held up and they are friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit, but better to book a table

We were seated out side which was nice even though it was a winters night they had plenty of heaters going. The atmosphere was great and so was the service, staff we’are friendly and helpful specially given I am a celiac. We both had the grilled steak it was cooked spot on to how we requested. The only complaint we would have was the meals could have come out hotter. Steak must have bn left to rest too long and the chared veg seemed as though it was plated and left to sit while the steak rest thus our meal was on warm when it arrived at the table. Overall I would give Jose jones a 3.5 out of 5.

The restaurant is awesome. The atmosphere is lovely. Great food and friendly staff. Very worth while a week waiting for the booking. Will go back again.

From the street the place looked inviting. Once we entered the warm back room the place was very stark and very unappealing . Having said that though the service was lovely & attentive by the girls and the menu had lots of yummy options. The croquets were delish and the bbq seafood was tasty too ( although a over cooked). Overall we did enjoy it as the sangria was good and there’s def evidence of a vibe when it does pick up . Ola!

We requested an outside table knowing how warm and cosy they are with the heaters and blankets available, but typically the heater had run out of gas so we froze all night! We asked to move numerous times but they couldn’t move us so in the end we had a very chilly dinner. Perhaps they could have a few spare gas bottles available to swap in? The service has always been great here, but this time we had a new waitress and she wasn’t very genuine. Didn’t spoil the night but didn’t leave us feeling stoked like we previously have been with our experience here.

Really good food, great atmosphere. Staff are super friendly. Tapas are perfect for people who have a smaller appetite. I has special chicken tacos and red wine, so good!

Both my sisters meal and my meal - fried bream fillets- were burnt including the fries that accompanied the fish. They were more than understanding when we voiced our disappointment and deducted the cost from our bill. Random menu.

Great restaurant, friendly atmosphere and excellent staff. Good selection of food, not huge but everything on it is a joy to eat. They were very busy and everything ran like clockwork. Have been there several times before and will go again.

We wanted to order the cob loaf for entree and there wasn’t any left but were promised garlic bread but then were told there wasn’t any bread of any kind. A large group of women (20-30) were then seated next to us we couldn’t hear at all. When asked if we could move they promised heaters outside but unfortunately they were anywhere near us so it was quite cold. After asking three times for a second beer it still wasn’t delivered - the staff were too busy to take care of their customers so we left and had coffee elsewhere

We have eaten there many times as it's our 'go to' place for 'date night'. Food is always fresh, service is friendly and accomodating to any need. I ate the fish tacos - yummo! (on the specials board). They also accommodated a friend who was lactose intolerant. They will always get my repeat custom as I can be assured of great food, great atmosphere and great service.

We had a quiet night with some members of my family.. we sat outside on a cool evening, but outdoor heaters were perfect. Food choices ( especially from 'specials " board) were great.. and beer and wine choices good too. Service was very good.. attentive, but not over bearing. Overall a great night!

Food was presented well but did not taste great. The tapas platter was advertised as being fit to share between two so my partner and I got it - we would have still been hungry if we had had one EACH. We left starving hungry and dissatisfied.

Very enjoyable night, good food, great ambience, beautiful cocktails. One small complaint only and that is that once we were served our mains, staff seemed to forget about us and we had to get their attention to advise that we were done and would like to pay the bill. Other than that, highly recommended.

Excellent service , very patient and accommodating as we changed tables. Food was delicious and well presented, and very generous servings sizes. Great coffee also. Will definitely return.

Good vibe, excellent beer choices, wine ok but poor glassware. Food a bit mixed, some good, some a bit overly sweet and a few odd combinations. Good service

We really enjoyed our first visit. The Buddha Bowls were tasty and there was a good selection of tap beers and wines by the glass. Will definitely return but next time with a jumper !

It would have been 5 but we were literally serve sliced Brie on toast for one of our tapas. This was recommended to us and we were laughing out loud at the presentation (2 thin slices of Brie on each piece with some seeds on the side!!). All other drinks and tapas meals were very good.

Had a great dinner at Jose Jones. Love the food and the casual atmosphere. Service is excellent. Given most seating is outside I’m hoping they get more heaters in as the weather gets colder.

Great food and atmosphere - enjoyed the live music and attentive staff. Next time I'll pick a quieter night (had to shout to make myself heard above the boisterous Friday groups near us) and a table NOT in the walkway!

We had our cousins from Perth and our aunty Tina who is 86 years young and the food was excellent and the staff were wonderful.

Food was very good and staff very friendly. Looking forward to returning and exploring the menu more. Special thanks to the head wait-person who was thoughtful

Lovely, staff very kindly personalised an order for my friend. Attentive waitstaff and beautiful sounds of Jodi Phillis in the background made a delightful evening.

Excellent service. Our waitress helped us choose our shared meals and she was spot on. The choices were great and the ones we tried were delicious.

Staff very friendly and efficient. Buddha bowl was excellent. Lamb kofta just so so. Steaks were good however rare steaks served on cold plates, especially when sitting outside are just a no no as the food does not retain any heat. This is a very basic step in serving food. Will go again however will remind staff re warm plates.

It was a very busy evening and management let down their customers and staff by not having enough bartenders and wait staff working. Staff should also be fully trained in dealing with customers when situations like this arise. Informing customers of wait times is essential as it avoids them becoming impatient. Having to ask three times to be served our drinks is not a great start to what one hope will be a pleasant meal. When we were finally served our food it was mediocre at best. It is not somewhere I recommend and I doubt we would return considering the quality of other local restaurants. Brad J
