Kamikaze Teppanyaki - Chermside

Food was good, the service prompt and very friendly. Overall the atmosphere was busy but relaxed We had a good night. The chefs flinging food added to the vibe of the place.

the food was tasty. Serving size was quite generous. The chicken karaage was everyone's favorite. will be going back.

I normally don't write reviews, However, this place stands out. It is clean, friendly service, and much better than the average restaurant. Highly recommended for a special night out

Food tasted good - Calamari and Steak were the stand outs . The cocktails also were good . Atmosphere at night was pretty good .

Great restaurant & great food. We were seated promptly & our order taken. The wait staff were very busy & there seemed to be some kind of mixup because our entree & mains arrived at the same time. We asked them to take the mains back to the kitchen & they advised that they would prepare us new meals when we were finished our entree. Overall a great night & loved watching the chefs cook on the hotplates.

Plain bottled sauces. I’m a bad cook and I can do better. Waited forever to get any service and very disappointed when it eventually came. Not going again.

Great food and great service. The staff were very pleasant and friendly and we didnt have to wait too long for our meals, which were very generous and delicious.

Entertainment and service was good. Karaage was raw so was replaced and only charged 50% of the price for the dish. Drinks took a while to arrive.

Food was average. Good for lunch but being teppenyaki can get smokey and if your not after that then it's not your kind of scene. Show was good but quality of food wasn't anything mind blowing. There are good Japanese restaurants run by non Japanese staff, but this was not one of them. Think of the crazy clarks of teppenyaki.

Excellent bento boxes. We had the chicken karaage box and yakitori box. Interesting seating booths too. Good service! We didn't have a seat at the teppanyaki hotplates but the food smelt great and the cooking skills were spectacular.

The food was amazing, so fresh and delicious. The staff couldnt have been more attentive. It was my little girls birthday and the staff really went out of their way to make it a fun experience for her. We will definately be back!

It was such a great experience. We got there and were seated straight away, our food was good by a very nice and friendly chef. And the food was amazing and very well priced. Not pricey at all. We would definitely go back there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Kamakaze Restaurant Chermside for lunch today. We chose the lunch special which we thought was very good value. The chicken and steak were cooked to our liking and servings very generous. The service was very good and staff pleasant at all times. We will definitely be back!

The food quite good but lots of butter used which made the meal greasy. Also everything served up on one plate . I prefer the traditional where each part of the dish is cooked and served instantly

Excellent food, good service, very entertaining to watch the chefs cook on the hot plate in front of diners! Took a long time for our two bottled drinks. Also our first time there and staff not super helpful when answering our questions about meals. Despite this I would recommend to friends!

The tepanyaki box was great value for money - miso soup, salad, your choice of meat rice and sauce. We got the set for 2 and couldn’t finish it all!

The service was very service but it was a little too noisy sitting at the teppan plate, so we moved to a booth which was great.

The booths are great. Fair prices. Good portion sizes. Friendly atmosphere. The service was fine. I would definitely bring my family back for a meal.

Could not fault it as everything was fresh and tasty delicious! We will be going back. Only down was waiter a little eager to remove plates.

Good overall, food was alright, but everything was too westernised for my liking. I was looking for a more authentic experience, like that offered at harijuku gyoza.

Food was very average with not much flavour, tuna was stick-in-the-throat dry. Friendly staff. Thought the food was overpriced for what it was. Wouldn't go back.

Maybe the fish could be cooked a little less And with the fillet, we ordered medium but it was medium rare or even rare in parts We ordered fried rice but it must have been missed because it wasn’t cooked on the Teppanyaki But overall we enjoyed the experience

Booked for 7pm for a table around the tep bar, arrived and told to come back at 7:30, went back at 7:30 and asked to come back at 7:45, at 7:45 no seats other than table. Food very average especially the $130 special for 2. Bill for 3 adults and 2 kids $278. Very over priced and very poor quality product.

Great food and good atmosphere, we got one of the set meals and it was great. Love the design of the restaurant although it needs more air-conditioning in main seating area

The food is amazing. Very enjoyable night. The friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food was very good. Combined with the openness of the Restaurant and the setting we will definitely return.

We will never be returning to this restaurant. The service was good and the staff were friendly. However, my partner got severe food poisoning from the snapper!
