That said, it’s probably one of the best cafe-restaurants you’ll find anywhere in Perth, due to its effortless style and Italian-inspired menu. Sit amongst earthy shades and warm lights as you enjoy a brunch of bagels with attitude or unique matcha pancakes, topped with fresh berries and homemade Oreo mascarpone. For bigger eaters there’s the indulgent hash benedict, served with the usual suspects: smoked salmon, poached eggs and a damn fine hollandaise. The evening hours mean more Italian authenticity at this Bristol Avenue location, think pasta and a superb collection of wood-fired pizzas – the Kava special with BBQ pulled pork and roasted capsicum is a win.
