La Bufala

There’s great Italian, then there’s La Bufala. This Mascot restaurant is famous for their wood fired pizzas that utilise Petra 3 flour, a stone-ground flour that retains part of the wheat husk for extra health benefits and flavour. Naturally risen for 48 hour hours, the dough at La Bufala is on another level, and you’ll understand just what we mean after your first bite – chewy, crispy and soft in all the right places, these pizzas are unlike anywhere else in Sydney. While the pizzas are an obvious choice here, the burgers are also impressive. We recommend their bufala burger, an angus beef patty topped with lettuce, tomato, caramelised onion and aged cheddar cheese stuffed in between two buns. La Bufala has so much more to offer, but it’s best if you investigate for yourself. Reservations are highly recommended for this popular restaurant on Kent Road.
