We booked a table with a view and were given one which was a good start. A beautiful day thus a beautiful view. Service was excellent, food really good and we had a very pleasant outing.

Great friendly service. Top quality food, thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Waiters far above the usual standard in Perth. Really first class in every deparment.

Food was great however we asked if we could have an outside table, told they were booked out but she would move us if something came up. A couple of tables out there remained unoccupied for the entire time. Loved the seafood!!

As regular diners was disappointed with the incredibly slow service, needed to flag someone to order food/drinks each time.

An extra scallop in the risotto would have been nice. Barramundi needed something extra on the plate. The plate looked a bit empty. Pana cotta divine! Service excellent. I would definately come back!

We are interstate visitors and thought we’d try your restaurant with our friends. Eventually the waiter came & took our orders. Food came and “no carbonara” was being served today....What Italian restaurant doesn’t serve this??? Not happy

Lovely meal, some had pasta, seafood plate and lamb rack. Very nice sitting on the balcony with the sea view. Service slow because it was very busy.

my risotto was very under-seasoned, but after I added salt, pepper & lemon was much better

Way too crowded and noisy. Food was OK, but a bit expensive for what it was. Expected a whole lot more. Waiter was great. Was a relief to finally get out of there and escape the noise.

Our first visit to La Capannina will unfortunately be our last. Its location is superb and our interstate guest enjoyed a stunning WA sunset. The food however was uninspiring and bland. Not sure how anyone can serve a tateless bruschetta but La Capannina managed with flying colours. The tomatoes were old and flourery with no hint of any seasoning let alone basil. The bread was so hard that I almost broke the plate with my knife trying to cut it!! The real fun started once I managed to get a piece in my mouth. Avoiding dental damage was a real feat!!! Unfortunately the pastas we ordered were no better. Both the beef cheeks filled agnalotti and the saffron and spinach tagliatelle were extremely bland through a complete lack of seasoning. Even 5 heaped teaspoons of grated parmesan wasn't enough to give it any flavour. Bruschetta and pasta are staples of italian cuisine. If a restaurant can't get these simple dishes right, then unfortunately this customer won't be going back.

What a beautiful view. It was busy and quite noisy but the food and service was really good. Make sure you book a time to see the sunset.

a very good addition to Scarborough. We go there regularly and enjoy it, but the menu is a little tight and the food quality is fine but not brilliant.

Magnificent breakfast sitting on the veranda overlooking Scarborough beach. Gorgeous wait staff who were eager to explain the menu and patient as we ordered. Coffee was divine. Meals were huge, beautiful looking and different from the usual fare. Meals and coffee were delivered very quickly and we felt no rush to leave. Highly recommend

Food was good, not a wow factor. Drinks a bit pricey and 2 wine choices not available. Very noisey butceorth a visit.

The food was beautiful, the atmosphere amazing, the view spectacular, but, the service was a little slow, it wasnt overly busy, the only thing that would concern me is if going there for a special occasions ie Mother’s Day, etc it would be extremely busy and if the service was as slow as what it was I’d be frustrated....

Beautiful location. Food was nice enough, drinks were alright and service was fine. Had a nice evening but probably won’t go back. There are too many other fabulous Perth restaurants where I’d rather go. If you want a lovely location for a meal then this is a good choice however.

The four cheese pasta was Bellissimo 🧀🧀🧀🧀🍝 I would highly recommend this dish.
