Our waitress was fantastic but it was noisy and food was a bit mass produced in its presentation and taste.

I don’t think there was enough staff on as we were waiting ages to get drinks. At one point we got our empty drinks glasses collected and waited about 20 mins after that to be offered another drink. Food was okay.

I went twice to this restaurant in 2 days. The first experience way better than the second. The waitress on second visit was terrible, I'm not sure if she couldn't hear well (it is a very noisy restaurant) or just a poor listener. For eg. I ordered an iced chocolate with extra chocolate. It was terrible. On the bill it was listed as an iced chocolate -no icecream. Not sure where she got that from?? Anyhow, the location is fantastic, menu is good, food is tasty and wait times manageable. I would go again.

Location and atmosphere was great , bit disappointed by our Beef cheek pasta , came out so quick so not fresh and pasta tough , bit over priced as well for amount of food we got

Over an hour to get main course served, explanation for delay was unsatisfactory as other diners who arrived later were served earlier. Acknowledge free olives (don't eat them), flat bread, and one main course free but the damage was done.

Food and coffee was very nice. Lovely view and restaurant with pleasant staff.

They made sure to sing happy birthday to my mum when the cake came out which was lovely! The waiter was very attentive. The vegan pasta was served without sauce at first which was strange/bland, but was easily fixed once we asked for pasta sauce, then it was really good! Thank you!

First time I've managed to get into La Capannina as it is usually booked out. I know why now. Everything about our experience was exceptional. I will definitely be coming back soon!

We had a lunch there today for my birthday. Unfortunately we found the service very poor. My husband's drink order was mixed up and drink never came at all and neither did the blanket that was offered to me. Even after we enquired twice about my drink it still didn't turn up. Only after a member of our party went and asked a 4th time was my drink brought to the table. I thought the food was expensive and average.

Great venue, food was good, decent staff but a bit pricey.

I thought the quality of the meal and presentation did not match the high prices of the food. The service experience also did not reflect the price bracket of the food..... although perhaps if people went maybe just for pizzas this could be justified! The restaurant may have a great location which will attract crowds but a very disappointing experience and would think twice before returning.

Highly enjoyable - these people get everything right. Professional italian waiters, gluten free pizza and pasta, home made pasta, wood fired pizza - just delicious. All with a world class view. A great restaurant.

Overall, had a great experience. Busy talking, but still noticed that it took too long for our main meals to come out, and it was not a very busy night. Risotto dish was too salty, and I do not agree that Italians serve the rice 'al dente', maybe spaghetti, but rice? Nice surprise when we found a couple of coffees were not charged for to compensate for disappointment with the risotto dish. Banter with the Italian waiter was good fun.

Excellent service. Truly delicious food. The Prosciutto, figs and stracciatella was amazing. And the beef cheek filled agnolotti yummyyy. Nice wine selection. House rose especially good. Very enjoyable lunch. Thank you.

Amazing food, really impressed with the price and the staff were fantastic, great that a lot of them were from Italy!

Loved sitting on the deck watching the sunset over Scarborough Beach. The blankets were a nice touch as the temperature dropped. Awesome wine menu.
