Did was absolutely perfect. Nice atmosphere and waitress Pria took great care of our table.

Food was of very poor quality, and customer service was disappointing. I was refused a glass of water as well.

The only disappointment was the bugs, which lacked the fresh flavour. Sauces were excellent, as were the Campari Spritzes.

Two people had pasta dishes (amatriciana and fettucine con pollo: perfect!). Two had the lamb (Agnello al Forno), and the oven roasted lamb rump was underdone, and the vegetables bordering on raw : edible, but not really what I expected for $40 a plate :-( The table service was prompt and attentive and pleasant. A tip for staff when clearing the table: don't stack used plates one on top of the other at the table in front of someone who has just finished dining. We asked for, and got, a table "inside" (under cover), and the ambience was very nice. Quiet enough for our table of four to converse without raising our voices.

We could not talk as the music was way too loud. The musician was great quality, but it should be background music, not all consuming. Unfortunately I will not come back. The food was great.

As a visitor to Brisbane, I had not experienced LDV before. The recommendation we received to go there was 100% correct and did not disappoint. Food, service, ambience and music was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Friendly staff looked after our needs. A little wait for our deserts, but still enjoyable.

The service was good, the food was ok but not great. The cocktails at $20 each were terrible, 2 very basic cocktails and they were not drinkable. The chocolate brownie was not a brownie but a piece of chocolate cake which was really disappointing.

Good menu, food is nicely prepared and well presented. Service is good.

Food overrated for what you paid. Steak was over cooked and chewy, would not expect paying $65 and getting what we got. Spaghetti Marinara was ok, not sure worth having mussels in it when inside content was barely the size of finger nail. Disappointing overall and unlikely to go back.

My husband and I chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner last night (11th of July 2025). We had driven past it so many times and thought we should try the food out there. The restaurant is beautiful and the service from the staff was amazing. They were so friendly and welcoming. Now to the food what can I say but it was all delicious. Would rate it 12/10. Would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Did not live up to expectations from previous visits. Pasta did not taste freshly made. Guests felt service was lacking.

The servers were very friendly and took our orders promptly, unfortunately there was a particularly long wait between entree and main which was what dropped our review rating.
