The staff were very obliging with specialist needs looked after. Only complaint was the veal snitzel was a little oily. Otherwise fantastic meal, great atmosphere, and a really enjoyable night.

Good food, great service, pleasant surroundings with open air type dining made for a very pleasurable dining experience. Prices were moderate and good value for money . We will again book into LaZanya's .

As we hadn't been to La Zanyas for quite a while and have been wanting to go back, unfortunately this visit got it out of our system! For starters it took 1 hour to get out meals during this time we had to go to the counter to ask for drinks and were given them then to carry back ourselves. When the meal arrived I was Very disappointed, didn't even look appealing. Mine was served with vegies, which were yellowing broccoli and beans that were actually mouldy. Veal was served in an over rich sauce with nothing to have with it to digest. My partners was the same veal but served with Coleslaw and leak salad. There was no salad as such but a sprinkle of coleslaw, again just a plate of rich meat. I never complain at restaurants as I see it as an experience you like or don't, but this was over and above that I didn't want to pay for something I didn't eat. The waiting staff were very good and apologetic and didnt charge, although the only "excuse" was oh the "vegies were only delivered today", I just said well mouldy food should not be served, doesnt matter how old it is!!

Always good at La Zs. Really friendly staff, good service and good food. Nothing too much trouble. Will be back again soon to enjoy the atmosphere.

First visit there with friends, was a lovely experience, will definitely return. Our food included cheese pizza, calamari, cauliflower risotto and chicken schnitzel, all were very tasty and decent portions.

Pizza is just magnificent. Fresh ingredients, homemade bases, good typical kids menu with variety. Decent beer and wine list. Friendly and attentive staff, relaxed atmosphere. Certainly going again.

Excellent Italian menu. Food was extremely tasty and substantial. The Chicken Funghi and vegetables were delicious as was the veal dish. Bruschetta pizza was a yummy starter. Ambiance was lovely on a cold night and the service was helpful and friendly.

Service was very slow but the staff were friendly. The pizza base was not well done but the filling was generous. Would go back and try other dishes.

As usual the service was very good and so was the food. The menu whilst not huge is very good and the prices are reasonable too!

Great to have a little Italian place out here in Eltham. Had one here before and it wasnt so much as Italian as an Australian cooking Italian from a cook book. This is now so much better. Staff were friendly and attended to our requests / food promptly. Tried the spaghetti Marinara (OIL BASE) and Pescetora (NAPOLI BASE) and liked both. Very good helpings of seafood which was terrific. Going back tomorrow night for the pizzas as they looked good too and they will do a thin crust if you want it! Looking forward to eating there again. Only reason we deducted some points is the furniture is not quite what we would have liked ie Italian. But it was comfortable and clean so by no means a real issue.
