My first visit to L'italy, which had received some positive early reviews. I thought it a very good venue for lunch. The smaller dishes in particular are excellent for sharing, which is encouraged by the waiting team. There are some unusual dishes, such as pig's head, which transpired to be some finely shaved meat, which I would recommend to meat eaters. The whitebait is also a fine sharing starter. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. There's also a very well arranged wine list. All in all, a welcome addition to the North Adelaide scene.

We just be everything about L’Italy. The food, wine and ambience are all superb.

The entrees were good, my main not so much. The service was 50\50, Ricardo was a delight & on the ball as usual, but the staff were only reasonable.

Did not get to order any food or wine as we were seated “out the back” of restaurant where there was absolutely no atmosphere and sitting on wooden box style benches. We were told front area was fully booked - there were still plenty of seats there when we arrived before 6:30 and we had a booking so why shouldn’t we be able to sit in front area? It seemed that restaurant had their system in place and would not allow any requests by customers to change. Very poor treatment by staff.

Lovely food, great atmosphere. However, the service was a little slow at times.

It was an overall (food drinks atmosphere value music service) superb evening for our 27th wedding anniversary. The espresso martini to die for.

Authentic top-quality fresh food, and not just the usual dishes you get everywhere else but traditional Italian meals. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, and a clean modern welcoming decor. And are those benches leather? Certainly they are comfy. We'll be back!

This was our first time but most certainly won't be our last! We love to eat tapas style and the menu really suited that .. as well as having some amazingly good food [the white bait and gnocchi especially were superb]and very good wine list, we loved the atmosphere [music was just a little bit too loud but perhaps we got more into the mood later in the night!]. The service was very good but "mine host" was brilliant! He worked the room and there were lots of lovely little touches that my dinner partner and I really loved. We can't wait for our next meal experience there.

Food wasn’t incredible 😍👌 However, the waiter was a bit inattentive and we had to ask for more water and for the menu to be explained.

Excellent food – almost every dish was a star. Pleasant staff and good atmosphere. Also a wine list of interesting wines at good prices.

Was waiting for our friends to join us at our table down the back but staff didn’t show them to our table, they showed them to a new table up the front thus we were sitting at the back and they were sitting up the front for 30 mins before we realised what had happened🤔

We had the $65 banquet. We were satisfied by the amount of food, the portions were large. We enjoyed the gnocchi and accompanying vegetables. We would have preferred more pasta. Did not rate the squid. Would not have chosen the dessert (meringue, cream and rhubarb), it was quite bland. Enjoyed the restaurant space and service was great.

On arrival we were seen to straight away, once our table was ready we were seated and drinks arrived soon after. Although the restaurant was extremely busy our food arrived very quickly. Service 10/10 The food was amazing, my daughter loves Gnocchi and said it was the best she had ever eaten! The ragu was so delicious my little one went back for seconds. Overall fantastic experience and look forward to returning when in Adelaide next.

Our first visit, we were wowed by the food, the staff were very attentive and informative, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere, can't wait to go back and try something else from the menu.

Food were amazing and came out fast! All staff were really friendly and very attentive!

Music was a bit loud felt as though I was talking loudly with my guests. The meals itself was really good. Will try it out again but request to sit in a different section.
