Was waiting for our friends to join us at our table down the back but staff didn’t show them to our table, they showed them to a new table up the front thus we were sitting at the back and they were sitting up the front for 30 mins before we realised what had happened🤔

Great food , excellent service , would definitely go back

We had the $65 banquet. We were satisfied by the amount of food, the portions were large. We enjoyed the gnocchi and accompanying vegetables. We would have preferred more pasta. Did not rate the squid. Would not have chosen the dessert (meringue, cream and rhubarb), it was quite bland. Enjoyed the restaurant space and service was great.

On arrival we were seen to straight away, once our table was ready we were seated and drinks arrived soon after. Although the restaurant was extremely busy our food arrived very quickly. Service 10/10 The food was amazing, my daughter loves Gnocchi and said it was the best she had ever eaten! The ragu was so delicious my little one went back for seconds. Overall fantastic experience and look forward to returning when in Adelaide next.

Our first visit, we were wowed by the food, the staff were very attentive and informative, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere, can't wait to go back and try something else from the menu.

Food were amazing and came out fast! All staff were really friendly and very attentive!

Music was a bit loud felt as though I was talking loudly with my guests. The meals itself was really good. Will try it out again but request to sit in a different section.

The food was amazing but I was unaware it was a 2 hr sitting so they rushed us to hurry up and leave... not happy!! So I would suggest if it’s a large group don’t bother!

Front of house reception was dismal, not even eye contact on arrival and we stood like shags on a rock for quite a while and almost walked out. Having read the online menu and paired the wine list before selecting the restaurant, I was disappointed to discover the printed wine list at the table was substantially different to the online version. I chose wine to share with our meal and the bottle delivered to the table and opened immediately was from a different vintage with the excuse “the wine list is out of date”. I expect more in a premium wine growing state of Australia, even if it means hand editing the wine lists when required. Someone needs to take on the responsibility. I queried the meat cut for the pork mains and was told it was a “chop” but no understanding by the waiter of the actual cut. It arrived in the form of a rib. Our group of three were seated at a round table, 2 sat on a padded bench seat and I had a small round top barely padded stool with no back support. At the end of the meal my butt was really sore and stiff. It was a cold wet Adelaide night and our jackets had to be folded up on small seating areas while dining, with no hanging spaces or offers to take them away for the duration of the meal. The food was well presented and seasoned. The female waitress was polite, efficient and announced the meals on delivery and was tipped for her efforts. The loud music forced the diners to raise their voices to chat or wait for a brief lull between tracks, and with tables in close proximity so not an “intimate” setting. Not what I had hoped for and overall I was not impressed. I had dined at Herringbone the previous day for lunch and that was a far more impressive experience at a comparable food and wine price structure.

As expected, excellent standard continues to be maintained. Calamari wow!

L'italy is fantastic in every way. Casual friendly and stylish. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The wine list is excellent and the food delicious. Different from the Italian food we have eaten on other occasions. Loads more flavour and a lot more interesting. I liked the way we were welcomed and farewelled Music was good and not obtrusive. We will be back It was my partners birthday and I wish I had ordered a dessert. Jane

so disappointed. Went with the family and we all love trying out new restaurants when they open. It took over an hour get main courses. We had to ask for our drinks twice. Daughter wanted a straw . After waiting so long she got up and got her own. The birthday cake which we brought took nearly another hour even though we reminded the waiter we were in a hurry. Apparently they were 2 staff down. Not good enough!

Ricardo et al are just fabulous. This was my 4-5th time here in L’Italy. It’s ticks all the boxes for me and I am never disappointed. Thank you.
