Great service, tasty food and good negronis at a reasonable price.

Great food, wine and service. I reckon even though the music was great, it was a bit loud, but that could be me.

The food was amazing but I was unaware it was a 2 hr sitting so they rushed us to hurry up and leave... not happy!! So I would suggest if it’s a large group don’t bother!

Front of house reception was dismal, not even eye contact on arrival and we stood like shags on a rock for quite a while and almost walked out. Having read the online menu and paired the wine list before selecting the restaurant, I was disappointed to discover the printed wine list at the table was substantially different to the online version. I chose wine to share with our meal and the bottle delivered to the table and opened immediately was from a different vintage with the excuse “the wine list is out of date”. I expect more in a premium wine growing state of Australia, even if it means hand editing the wine lists when required. Someone needs to take on the responsibility. I queried the meat cut for the pork mains and was told it was a “chop” but no understanding by the waiter of the actual cut. It arrived in the form of a rib. Our group of three were seated at a round table, 2 sat on a padded bench seat and I had a small round top barely padded stool with no back support. At the end of the meal my butt was really sore and stiff. It was a cold wet Adelaide night and our jackets had to be folded up on small seating areas while dining, with no hanging spaces or offers to take them away for the duration of the meal. The food was well presented and seasoned. The female waitress was polite, efficient and announced the meals on delivery and was tipped for her efforts. The loud music forced the diners to raise their voices to chat or wait for a brief lull between tracks, and with tables in close proximity so not an “intimate” setting. Not what I had hoped for and overall I was not impressed. I had dined at Herringbone the previous day for lunch and that was a far more impressive experience at a comparable food and wine price structure.

As expected, excellent standard continues to be maintained. Calamari wow!

L'italy is fantastic in every way. Casual friendly and stylish. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The wine list is excellent and the food delicious. Different from the Italian food we have eaten on other occasions. Loads more flavour and a lot more interesting. I liked the way we were welcomed and farewelled Music was good and not obtrusive. We will be back It was my partners birthday and I wish I had ordered a dessert. Jane

so disappointed. Went with the family and we all love trying out new restaurants when they open. It took over an hour get main courses. We had to ask for our drinks twice. Daughter wanted a straw . After waiting so long she got up and got her own. The birthday cake which we brought took nearly another hour even though we reminded the waiter we were in a hurry. Apparently they were 2 staff down. Not good enough!

Food was delicious! The stool we were sat on got a little uncomfortable after sitting for a few hours but overall the experience was great.

Several meals were meals were overpriced for quantity. The steak cut (beautifully cooked) into slices was quite scarce for the price. The croquettes were also delicious but very small. The meringue dessert was also very simple- a meringue w something On top. Enjoyable non the less. Comparatively to other restaurants for this price range we left thinking delicious meal but slightly overpriced for what we had.

This was our 3rd visit and it just keeps getting better. The whole octopus was amazing, Gorgonzola balls 😆and capers with a twist Yum! Bar staff are so friendly and we always try a new drink. Best way to wind down from a weeks work.

Great vibe top staff average wine list . Decent food happy night

The food and service were excellent and I would have given top marks all round except I thought the mains were a bit small for sharing. The three of us agreed we would happily return though.

The food was sensational. Everything we ordered was the best - flavoursome and straight from the kitchen. Could not fault the service. Very attentive. Plates changed every so often. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My friend and I weren’t a big fan of the pizzette, but everything else was lovely😊

Atmosphere was fantastic! Great music, decor and mood. Food was ok/good. We had the banquet. The dishes could’ve been better explained to us. The waiter didn’t even tell us what the dessert was. On the whole the service was ok though.
