Locale Mio restaurant

Wouldn’t recommend the scallops as they were chewy and inedible but the bruschetta and arancini was lovely. Food was a bit slow to come out but the waitress was very accomodating

Visted locale mio many of times food and service always amazing never had a bad meal there many thanks to Natalie and Alessio and staff for the killer service and always and amazing food if u haven’t tried then u are really missing out would by at be the best Italian food in the whole of Perth

This small town restaurant manages to make you feel very special. Better than your average. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. I have had better authentic Italian however the food is more than satisfactory, portions are good and tasty . Will definitely keep returning. Always book as it’s popular.

Food was lovely. Bit small inside but outside was nice.

The arancini were excessively salty, the outside crust was very thick and hard. The beef carpaccio was the best I've ever had. The spaghetti was perfectly cooked. The sugo was watery, had an odd after taste and needed more reduction. The polpetti were tough, dry, hard and very salty, inedible, they were like golf balls - 4 in a main dish was stingy - should have been 6. The panacotta was tough and rubbery - either set with too much gelatine or been in the fridge too long, it was inedible, also very small. The mango couli was ok but it was finished with nuts which can be a serious food alergy issue for some people (no advice of this in the menu). The double shot espresso came in an out-sized cup and was very bitter. (BP coffee tasted better) The wait staff were very attentive, the manager was very kind and helpful and listened.. We were rushed through our dinner unawares that our 6.30pm booking meant our table was double booked for 8.00pm. I have never been so thirsty after a restaurant visit as I was with this one, I woke up severral times in the night and must have drank at least 2L of water. Sorry, but I won't be back...

Pizza was yum. Pasta ok. Would have given a really good review but they got the mains order wrong and when two staff member were asked they didn’t get back to us. One of the mains was so late everyone else had finished eating. They eventually delivered last mains it was not a comparable quality as the same mains order by another member of our party. We didn’t want to order dessert after the experience. I don’t like giving horrible reviews but this was quite a disappointing event and pity as the food was generally good.

Fantastic food, busy and therefore quite the wait to have our order taken.

As always, the food was incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked. While dining out has become way too expensive across WA, at least here, you’re paying for real quality. Mio Locale offers a great variety of dishes, including an authentic Italian pizzas, and every meal my friends and I have had has been exquisite, with well-balanced portions. The service is always courteous, and the staff ensures you have a great experience. Highly recommended!”

Risotto rice was very hard not cooked enough. Other Ghan that meal & service was very good.
