One of our party got lost in Sydney & didn’t make it to dinner. Nobody made a big deal of it. We didn’t like the rose by the glass, we ordered a different wine, & this was happily accommodated. Great pizza & salads!

We arrived early and got seated early even though it was a full house. Service was flawless and pasta was devine. Our new favourite when in town for any meal any time of the day!

A bit busy but the food was served on time. Everything is so good!!!

No problem with waitstaff being new, but they really had little knowledge and very obvious there was very little training. I was kept standing waiting for my table with no acknowledgement from other staff despite seeing me waiting. Food wasn’t too grand either, just meh. I wouldn’t even call their focaccia bread focaccia. It was just like a very thin and crispy pizza crust that was overcooked.

1. Chicken and mushroom sauce no flavour. Needed lots of salt. 2. Long wait time even though we booked. 3. Nutella pizza COLD base. 4. Seafood marinara average. 5. Overally priced. 6. No starter plates.

The best wood fired pizza in town and the salads are great as well.

Food was delicious, service was prompt - I'm also happy they let us in about half an hour before our reservation. Noise levels at the restaurant are loud, but it is busy and was a Friday night, so understandable.

Painfully average food, pizza lacked any real flavour. I went based on google reviews and was very disappointed. When I said as such to the staff I was met with total puzzlement and indifference. Yeah if you value real Italian flavours perhaps find another venue.

Booked for 7pm for 5 people. The manager seated us in at around 6:50pm, well done. Great food, big portions, attentive services. Ended up with around $55 per person and 5 full, satisfied bellies. Will recommend.

We'd booked knowing that Saturday night is a busy night at this restaurant. There was a decent queue when we arrived at 6pm and it was even longer when we left at 7pm. Our pizza and Mediterranean salad were both tremendous. We' loved them both. Good prices and service is prompt.

It was great. I booked it online and mentioned a birthday and forgot to mention in the restaurant however they made it special by bringing a lemon meringue pie and singing. It was a really lovely touch! Thank you.

Food was good however the GF base of the pizza could have been a bit more cooked especially in the middle. We find that if the base is slightly cooked before adding the topping this helps with GF. The sauce and other toppings were delicious.

The acoustics are excellent. It's a very popular and busy restaurant but it is still easy to hear those at your own table. Brilliant! We had a fabulous waitress, wish I had caught her name (English); attentive, efficient but not intrusive. There is an extensive menu; I selected the marinara - my one suggestion is that either the crab is taken out of the shell or the customer is provided with a 'crab cracker' and finger bowl/ wipes at the time of receiving the dish and not at the end. My preference would be that the crab is taken out of the shell prior to serving. A great evening and thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Be sure to book as many groups were turned away.

A good night - the wine and cocktails are always amazing, but sadly the food has lost a bit of the wow factor I remember from a few years ago. Still happy to go but for the price it's now a bit less of a slam-dunk yes every time.

Originally I had a table of 10 booked. A few pulled out and I amended my booking to 6 but 2 extra came and they accomodated to the extra's who came. Service was excellent. Coffee orders nearly came out at the same time considering there was 8 of us.

This was our fourth times dinning at Macchiato. This time was terrible. We ordered 3 meals, 1 pizza, 2 pasta and asked to have pizza come first. However 3 came out at the same time, I then asked to have the pasta come later with fresh cook and not reheat. The waiter said we will cook fresh when you are ready for pasta. As it turned out the pasta was terrible. We brought this attention to the captain at the cashier, he immediately gave us $10 discount with an unhappy face. I didn't expect to have discount given but to share our experience that we didnt finish our foods.

Busy restaurant with a good vibe and friendly staff. Worth booking a table just to be on the safe side, but plenty of tables & fast service.

I made a booking for our family dinner. The service wonderful! Kids were all happy treated with drinks and icecream. Pizzas and pasta were all amazing! Will definitely visit again.
