Their pizza is yummy as always. Grilled octopus is more tasty than I expected and I love it!

The food was delicious, amazing wood fired pizzas and the restaurant staff were amazing! The chef let the kids try their hand at pizza dough and kept them entertained for an hour. Lovely place.

The restaurant offers gluten free options but cannot guarantee that it will be. For example, gluten free pasta is cooked in the same eater as normal pasta. We were disappointed that my daughter had very few safe options.

Variety of food and drinks were awesome. Loved the cocktails and customer service.

Amazing pizzas and salads plus lovely staff. We changed our table then requested extra chair as more people showed up and everything was arranged nicely.

Service was slow to get our order in. However the food came very quickly. We ordered garlic pizza thought it would come first but all came together.

Never saw our server again after she took our order. Went to the register to pay with no bill in hand. Food was mediocre, not great.

We first visited Macchiato on our initial visit to Sydney and returned for our last night in Australia. We loved the jazz duo of Paul and Monique and were so happy when they were playing again last night. They re Good! Food was very good overall but the bruschetta with artichokes was not up to their standard. Loved the energy and ambiance of the place. A “ Go To” place. 🇨🇦 Jim and Lynda

It's great to know that there is an excellent Italian restaurant in the CBD, where so many eating places are geared towards towards tourists but are not necessarily good value or have good food. I go to Macchiato almost every time I am staying in the city
