Our family group of seven (including two preschoolers) thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Macchiato’s. The large menu offers something for everyone, and the food arrived quickly, which was great, especially for the two littlies. It was a birthday celebration, and the staff even sang Happy Birthday when they brought out the candle-topped gelato dessert I’d chosen for the birthday boy. An excellent CBD find!

The food and service were great but the restaurant was very hot . We asked a few times if it could be made cooler but it didn’t seem to happen.

My 13 year old son and I arrived at 6pm and thank goodness we had a booking. They were a full house and then some tonight. All the staff were literally run off there feet and yet, everything was perfect. Service was amazing, food was amazing, restaurant was clean and well presentable. We had the lovely Maximo as our waiter and he was exceptional. Friendly, helpful, funny and very patient. This restaurant was new to us, so we were taking our time to order, when Maximo kindly let us know, that the longer we left ordering, the longer our wait time for food would be, due to the businesses. My son was being a quizzical teenager and as much as you knew Maximo was probably frustrated with us, he never showed it. He laughed with us and helped us and was just so kind and patient with us, but I'm sure he was relieved when we left lol. As I was leaving, I ran I to the manager and imputing a very high praise regarding Maximo, cause he certainly deserved it. Our pizza was delicious, Tiramisu was amazing and the chocolate lava cake was yummy, but very sickly and sadly couldn't eat it all. What an incredibly amazing restaurant full of such beautiful, friendly staff and such yummy food. Thank you.

The food was lovely, although the toppings were rather dry on the pizza. The staff members were unfriendly in general. One even spilled whole drink on the table, barely apologised then passed napkins for us to wipe our own table. The dessert selections and coffee were great.

Absolutely amazing! The food was incredible, the venue was lovely and I can't stress enough how great the staff were. Was there for my partners birthday and they even put a candle in her desert at the end to top it all off the dessert was on the house. Best dining experience and very personal for a big restaurant.

Couldn’t ask for more . From the moment we arrived to my special request for a more quieter table the staff could not have been more helpful considering how super busy it was. Meal and drink service was exceptional and as for the food it was amazing . Will visit here again.

Taha is absolutely amazing! We had a big group with plenty of kids. He handled things so professionally even when there was a major spill. This is officially our favourite restaurant in Sydney!!!! We travel on the metro from the hills. So worth it :)
