We have had several meals there previously and they set the bar for steak in Melbourne. However last Saturday’s experience was not to the usual standard. They have changed the chips to a very bland cheap chip shop style and our steak was more medium than rare.

Nice atmosphere, good menu selection. We would visit this place again.

Lovely steak and well cooked. Seating uncomfortable so not ideal for a leisurely lunch. Wine list was in transition so choices very limited. Work in progress?

Food was very tasty but atmosphere is very loud and entrance to restaurant does not work with people lining up to order at the fridge window. We couldn’t figure out where to go or who to speak to in order to sit down. Would be much better if the alternative door was used to enter to avoid blockage at the front. Steaks were cooked very well

Excellent food and service. A bit cramped for space and a little noisy, but it didn’t detract from the overall experience.

Super organisation, staff with great memories and food (including vegetables at a place which calls itself a butchery) done to perfection.

Great location, great atmosphere and most importantly, excellent selection of meats! I had the Angus eye fillet and the rump, with the Wagyu kransky sausage and lamb cutlets. Would recommend for casual date nights or group dinners :)
