Great food , quick and very friendly service . Order system is easy and fuss free. Restaurant has a bright and happy atmosphere .Highly recommended

The staff was very nice, so welcoming and fun. Its asif i was back in japan. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Would definitely recommend for japanese food lovers.

Food are always so good as we come here often. Drinks are a little pricey but it may compensate for the good priced food. Nice atmosphere. So will be visiting again as usual. Thank you again Maedaya!

We are locals and have been here a few times before. Food was marginal and the service terrible. Guoza were wet and soggy and other dishes very low standard and we didn’t even receive the last food order. We waited over 20mins for it but it still didn’t arrive after a number of requests. We were repeatedly told that there were “so many orders” but this was at 9.30pm and the restaurant was significantly lower in volume than when we arrived at 8.15pm. Even water was a struggle to get. Have gone many times before but we will not go back.

Meat quality was good for all you can eat. Shame the exhaust fan was so loud, it felt like we were yelling the whole time. Coal could have been hotter for the meat to cook faster.

Such a great place, friendly staff, delicious food, their all you can eat bbq is some of the best value food and drink! I miss this kind of option from Japan in Australia, totally recommend!

This is one of our favorite restaurants for an easy but tasty dinner. Relaxed vibe, prompt service and the food just keeps on coming! What’s not to like? We just love the spicy sushi roll.

Always love Maedaya. This time seated upstairs with our group of 8. Atmosphere better downstairs as it was very draughty. Menu changes from time to time. Not the same choice as before.

Food n service is good. The WiFi was down, after an hr, we found the food not arrive but the staff quickly resolved it. We have all u can eat bbq, was very good.,lots of choices.

This was probably our 5th or 6th visit. We booked and were told that you have 2 hours then your out. We have never been disappointed with the food here. But I guess there is always a first time.

Great, interesting fusion Japanese food. The wines were Japanese but were true to description and went well with the food. The ipad menus made it a fun experience.

Always enjoy Maedaya, love their ipad ordering experience ...... food comes quickly and one can keep ordering till we are sated. Service is attentive and warm. Hot Green Tea is on the house and you can order this as much as you can drink. We do miss the Sashimi Salmon Salad which was one of our favourites ..... need to book to avoid disapointment.

Fantastic food and good atmosphere. Booking process a little quirky as I got sms messages to confirm as well as phone calls yet the restaurant was only about 50% capacity- perhaps technical glitches... But service is brilliant

Serive was amazing. Loved the whole experience. It was easy to place order and the staff were very attentive. Every dish that we ordered was delicious! Will be back for sure!

Pretty great! Good food, very nice Bao, ordering system was not what I was used to but worked well, and it all came fast. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and nice :) Will definitely be going again sometime soon!

Very good place to eat and service was very quick. Grill food pretty good and easy to order via ipad, need to upgrade the ipad as its quite lagging sometimes.

It was good as per usual. Good servic, yakiyori good quality. First time I have sat upstairs, atmosphere is better downstairs. The alcohol selection is great.
