For something a little out of the ordinary, head to Sydney’s Maiti Fusion and taste the best dishes the Nepalese and Indian kitchens have to offer. This local favourite fuses the flavours of both cuisines into their delicious offerings, each bringing their own unique qualities to the table. There are many great dishes to discover when dining out at Maiti Fusion, from momo (Nepalese-style dumplings) to aloo chup and everything in between. We like the aloo bhanta, a mild potato and eggplant curry that’s perfect for vegetarians, and the chicken vindaloo is also particularly good if you like your food a bit on the spicy side. Bring along the little ones too – they’ll love the tasty chicken nuggets from the kids menu! Found down Hercules Street, Maiti Fusion is easy to reach from nearby Ashfield station.
Great value, service with a smile and food was very tasty (my goat on the bone this time was perfect)! We have come as a couple and with a group, standards are consistently high. Handy to station and to our bus route, friends ride over and lock up their bikes outside within view.
The food was much better than expected. A comfortable intimate experience with nice friendly service. I had heard from friends that the place was under new ownership. The food before was very average.
