Milky Lane - Newcastle

Had to wait a while for drinks...longer than meal, but food and drinks were delicious.

The food was great! We just waited so long to get our shots however our waitress was very accommodating which was really good 😊

Unfortunately they were sold out of a lot of things I had wanted to try. But what i did get was lovely.

Been waiting for this to come to Newcastle for a long time and Milky Lane definitely lived up to the hype. Staff were extremely friendly and the food was exceptional. Would recommend not eating breakfast if you want to be able to finish your meal!

Over all it was slightly disappointing as not everything was on the menu like the bubble o bill shake... seating is a bit crowded and we were seated right in the entry way where people walk in and out of your restaurant and pay for their meals I don’t think that table should really be there. The pop korn chicken we ordered tasted burnt and slightly old like it had been sitting there a while. How ever the Mac and cheese croquet were AMAZING!!! Like omg so good! We will be returning to give it another go as our experience was still pleasant even though it was slightly disappointing . staff was friendly, helpful and attentive.

So disappointed as I ordered a small burger so I could have an amazing dessert only to be told there was none available when I went to order one after we had eaten our mains. Huge sad moment 😔

Great food, the service was perfect & the restaurant has a relaxed but funky atmosphere. Absolutely worth going here, I had the cheat platter & it’s well worth the money 👏🏼 will definitely be back to try the cocktails 🍹

Our drinks were discusting. Waited 45 minutes after our chips to receive our burgers. The only good thing was the taste of the burgers. Too overrated.

We were extremely satisfied with the food we received but were extremely disappointed when we were hurried out of our seat/table due to another booking, very disappointed with the wait time too.

Ok I don’t usually write Negative reviews but Seriously Milky Lane Newcastle We won’t be back!...We had a reservation on the Friday evening 26/7 third day into Trading I believe and when we went to place drink orders we were informed there were No Speciality shakes ...Ok...odd considering that’s what half the experience is about for the kids! So we ordered Small shakes sadly they were 3/4 filled with Cream and hardly any milk? My Friend asked for bacon on her Burger and was told they had no bacon!.(Another Odd No can do..) The Loaded fries came out cold and at $12.50 it was disappointing that they were very small portioned.We also ordered a Basket of Chips approximately $9 and they too came out rather over cooked and and not hot either... I still understand why the they came out 20 minutes before our burgers arrived?..Our Burgers arrived by lovely wait staff but still left a lot to be desired considering the Hype!..We were offered another round of soft drink or small shakes to make up for the No bacon No Speciality shakes though, so the Kids accepted hoping to perhaps get a proper shake but sadly it was the same...We left feeling a tad disappointed in what we thought was going to be Something new and different!..And Sadly we kind of felt we we were hurried out the door!... I wish them well but it wasn’t what we expected at all...

✅ Food was tasty ❌ way overpriced in comparison to competitors (eg rascal, Newy burger) ➖ was slow, took 40 mins for food and sides (chips) came out 10 mins before burgers.

Pretty average service. Waitress kept forgetting to come back so we ended up leaving before getting deserts. Tables way to close together

Food was average, we ordered 2 burgers, popcorn chicken, sweet potato fries and 2 cocktails. Burger bun was stale and oily at the same time? Patty was over salted. Popcorn chicken batter was dripping in oil and falling off the chicken, VERY salty. Service was great, food wasn’t :(

The food was great but you’ve don’t het much for how much you pay, took a while for the food to come out but it was delicious.

The cocktails were delicious. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was packed and our food was out in twenty minutes. Atmosphere was excellent. Loved it.

Rude staff couldn’t order a drink without being spoken to very rude. Not impressed we booked this knowing it fully booked for couple weeks no dessert left not catered for so annoying. Paying is even more chaos anyone could just walk out without paying. No set staff to take payments & didn’t get a bill from rude waiter. Was chaos. Would only be good for go for a drink or 2 nothing else.
