Milky Lane - Newcastle

Rude staff couldn’t order a drink without being spoken to very rude. Not impressed we booked this knowing it fully booked for couple weeks no dessert left not catered for so annoying. Paying is even more chaos anyone could just walk out without paying. No set staff to take payments & didn’t get a bill from rude waiter. Was chaos. Would only be good for go for a drink or 2 nothing else.

Had to flag someone down to come take our order, took an hour for food to come out. Burgers were average.

A little disappointing and not all it’s made out to be. We sat for over 20 minutes before someone even walked past us and we were able to ask if we could order. Our burgers were cold, how do you eat a cold hamburger?!?! And when we went to order dessert we were told they had run out of dessert because people had only been ordering desserts.. Day 3 of the Newcastle Milky Lane being open and they run out of dessert.

We were seated quickly. Ordered fast. Drinks came out fast. Loved the cocktail fishbowl. Burgers did take about 45mins! And then it went bad... my fiance was handed a burger that he didnt order. They said they ran out of brisket and this was his new burger. We didnt even get asked! They then said that they would discount it to half price. And we still weren't happy so after one of my mates getting heated they gave it to us for free. My fiance was still unhappy he wasnt asked what he was wanted as a replacement cause he didnt reallywant what they gave him. Also it was so loud!!!! Did the music have to be so high?Had to shout at each other.

Overrated from all the hype, over priced, poor service- waited forever and forgot my cocktail more then once, and forgot my friends burger (other then one fantastic blonde guy who saved the day every time, other staff quite rude). Positives- beauno cocktail was delicious, loaded fries also delicious, mushroom and Mac and cheese crochets delicious, and an amazing looking venue.

Milky Lane had good food but is very over priced and very noisey.

Burgers, service, and venue was great. Price for size of burgers, and what you got in regards to chips and shakes, was just too expensive to justify regular visits.

So so good!! I was expecting it to be really overrated but I definitely was wrong, the food and drinks were unreal. Beautiful service and great atmosphere. Will definitely be going back!!!!
