amazing food, me and my partner were over the moon with the food, although the burgers were a little smaller than expected but still great

Really good food but really bad service. Run out of wine, ginger beer and non alcoholic ginger beer. Chips arrived about 10 minutes before mains. Lights were turned on as we were still finishing our drinks. Slow service on taking orders. (Although the staff were friendly)

Upon entry we were placed at a table near the front door. After requesting in my booking and asking two staff if we could get a booth we were ignored. As a first time experience the order taking wasn’t very helpful or suggestive. Dj on deck was too loud for the setting. BUT the food was 10/10 for quality.

Would have liked all the food to be bought out together not one persons bought out and then the rest 10 mins later but it was delicious, it was an incredible vibe and the service was amazing. The young man looking after us knew the menu of the top of his head, was so accommodating and made us laugh the whole time. He is an absolute asset to Milky Lane Newcastle and because of him we will definitely be regular visitors.

Extremely loud and noisy atmosphere, really hard to get someone to take our order, disgusting and over priced food. Should be ashamed of yourselves - nothing but regrets

I wanted to see what all the hype was about. But wasn’t impressed. It was Really overpriced for all items on the menu. The burger definitely wasn’t worth $23 Ive had better food at a cheaper price. I had a milkshake which was $16 wasn’t anything special. The toilets were weirdly positioned with male/female coming face to face after doing your business. I probably won’t Be back maybe only for drinks. The only thing I did like was the atmosphere, the music was good and the street art on the walls was really cool.

Food was amazing did feel a little rushed as we went at 8 and they closed at 9 but other than that overall a great experience.

We absolutely loved Milky Lane....hands down the best burgers and omg the Mac n cheese bacon croquettes yum yum yum. Can not wait for my next visit 👍🏼. This place does not disappoint and I would encourage anybody to go check out and try the food/drinks 🤤...as they are legendary.

Your photos of burgers online do you a disservice. They look so big, fried and gross that it does not look like somewhere that you want to go without probably feeling sick at the end. We were pleasantly surprised by the food.

The music, good vibe, and mural is what we liked most about our Milky Lane experience. Almost everything that we ordered at our table of 11 came out cold. The food needed to be fresher/hotter.

The drinks were great, food was a bit over cooked & service wasn't that good.. I have been to other milky lanes & they were great..

Went to see what all the hype was about and it was a let down, music was loud couldn’t have a decent conversation and the burgers weren’t that great or unique, I’d rather go to burger urg, better burgers, better sweet potato fries and at least I can have a conversation rather then trying to shout across the table... not worth the money to go there...wouldn’t be a place I would take kids either...

So loud night club with food got the kids out as fast as we could but great for adults that don’t want to talk to each other

Food was cold. Waited 1 hour for food despite the restaurant being relatively quiet. Chicken was under cooked.

Personally the hype was better then the food. But i am stuck in my simpleton ways of what I do like. So its not that the chef or staff did anything wrong everything was well made just not for me.

Very disappointed. Social media plays this place up as having ridiculously indulgent desserts, shakes and burgers. But in reality, there is 1 mega shake on the menu, 2 desserts and some average sized burgers. Barely anything to choose from. Incredibly overpriced. $9 for 6 onion rings and $13 for a tiny basket of popcorn chicken which wouldn't even be the equivalent of half a chicken breast. Will never return or reccomend to friends. Only positive is that the staff were lovely.

Big group for Christmas party. Nice food. Smallish portions. Won't split bills and advertise 10% surcharge for groups. Thankfully they didn't charge us that. Burgers quite good though.
