Great place. Good food. We love Montano's. The cakes and slices are amazing.

The food was very good but we had to wait a longer than usual time to be served.

Food was lovely but service was a little lacking. Once we received our food and coffee we were never spoken to again except to tell us we had to leave as they had a reservation on the table coming. We were unable to get the attention of staff (they were able to ignore a horrible bell coming from the screen that handles online orders so not surprised they could ignore customers easily) We would have had more coffee and may have also had cake but were not given the opportunity to order again.

First time patron ... & we'll be back !! One could not visit & be dissatisfied as the To Go options are fantastic & in abundance, the Cake Bar Oh Wow !... The seating area terrific & comfortable & the Menu offers SO SO many options ... What we had & witnessed on neighbouring tables was just terrific. To top our visit off was your Staff on Wed. 14/8 were MOST obliging & tentative to all seated customers...... Well Done Monotano's !! Will recommend other friends to visit. Michelle B

Lovely brunch with a friend. We both had poached eggs with additions and it was cooked & presented well. I loved the good amount of avocado provided with my eggs and it was delicious. We did find the air a bit cool, especially on a coolish windy day but otherwise it was awesome.

The service and food were good but the noise level was too noisy

We waited 45 minutes for our meal ( eggs etc). This is not acceptable with 2 children who became bored and hungry. I have been to many busy cafes and have never had to wait more than 20 minutes .for a meal. The girls waiting tables were nice and friendly, not their fault for the very slow kitchen service. I would not return.

Only one comment, like many restaurants and eateries, please sharpen your knives. Mine was exceptionally blunt and had difficulty cutting a bread roll.

The meals were great and the service excellent. We were not hurried to leave. There was 5 in our group and all had drinks and meals.

No wait time at all, great coffee & service. Great ambience & place to visit. A simple hello at the front/greeting/warm welcome would have been nice however I don't expect that too much given my past experience with this particular staff. However this could be make or break for new potential customers. I will surely visit this place again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch, the food and coffee as well as the service was great. Due to dietary restrictions i made some changes to my brunch and the staff and chef were very accommodating.

Food was great, but they need to spend some money and put some more air conditioning in. It was so hot 🥵 in there. 1 air conditioning inside is not enough.

There was an extremely loud child that the parents chose to ignore. Well done to the waiter who asked the child politely to be quiet and it worked straight away!

Staff were great. Eating area outside is pleasant but the menu hasn't had any changes in ages. Bit over it now. Oh and around $4.00 for a tiny, weeny 2 bite at most cake is ludicrous!

Good coffee, good food, generous portions, great cakes, reasonable prices and we weren't in any way made to hurry even though we stayed over 2 hours.

Definitely our go to Coffee/Dining stop over when in Melbourne.the Staff are Amaizing Tiffany 😁 The Best Menu Greek/ Italian too suit & always Delicious. Finishing with Cannoli ( Custard ) Chocolate & Vanilla.

Great atmosphere and staff went above and beyond. Checked in on us to make sure we were taken care of. Food great and able to make sure any special requests were made and without any fuss. Would totally recommend to everyone to come here
