Montezuma's - Albany Creek

The food was really nice- a little noisy in the restaurant due to some kids but it is a family restaurant so to be expected.

Our meals were burnt and no one came around to see how our meals were and when asked by the cashier we were told that there was a chef in training but that’s not an excuse when we spent $75 to eat there and I didn’t get my birthday churros

Motezuma’s Albany Creek is our family restaurant. It is the best Motezuma’s in the network, because it is clean, with friendly staff. That’s all you need - the basics and kindness, to have a good restaurant. And cleanliness is EVERYTHING. A manager who makes sure that every corner is clean - will also have ‘attention to detail’ in regards to the quality of food and quality of staff. The only suggestion we have from this review are that the individual chairs are hard wood. Your ‘poor ol’ bum’ gets sore sitting on it for any period of time - which makes one want to rush your meal and leave as soon as possible!! Therefore, limiting the restaurant’s revenue, extra food, extra drinks and desserts. The manager should consider buying Mexican style (washable) cushion pads that tie into the seats, so that customers are more comfortable and stay longer. How about it manager?

My dish the Montezumas delight was tasteless. I did not enjoy it unfortunately. Service was good though.

They need to hire a real bartender. Drinks are over priced and downright disappointing, not even close to what they are meant to be.

The food was good as usual but a different cook was on and it wasn't quite the usual high standard....hopefully the regular is back next week!

Training new staff last time we visited, very busy with a big birthday party but service was still good and staff still friendly.

Eaten here last year but tonight wasn't that great. Food was below average. No chilli on my chilli nachos, taco shells were chewy, dry chicken and no taste all in the beans.

The restaurant is cool, nice decoration and with lots of parking space outside. The food surprised me, it was really yummy and it’s not like the Mexican fast food I’ve tried before. The staff was friendly and maybe too persistent... They asked around 10 times if we were ready to order even though I said “we'll call you when we are ready”. But it was a good experience overall.

It was my wife's birthday and we celebrated it style. Had a great time.

Staff were friendly, food was great, it was a busy night and we were served promptly .all round a good experience.

The meals were great, 2 adults and 2 children under 10. the only let down was after dinner we were looking at getting desert for all 4 of us . but the finished plates sat on the table for 10 or more minutes as the staff walked past . so we left without having desert. i could have understood if the place was busy , but it was quite empty. the wait staff was more interested in sticking up posters for a circus that was in town

This restaurant has always been very good but since Menulog has been introduced the dine in customers who spend more money are being neglected... half an hour wait and then they brought our mains and forgot our entree...
