Montezuma's - Burleigh Heads

We visit here yearly on our annual Burleigh Heads vacation!!! Absolutely love it and the food and the service and the staff are always fabulous!!!

Beautiful fresh food great service cool music right in Burleigh Heads across the road from the beach l have eaten hear since 1982 you won’t be disappointed the delish sangria is perfect with the food my favorite is the vegetarian delight huge serve l never finish it all and it’s bursting with freshness 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Great food and friendly staff but took awhile to sort out ‘deal’ purchased. They had no idea there was a deal advertised, embarrassing for us and for them :-(

Awesome meal as always. A little bit slow taking our order but they were busy :) Good to see you can now pay for drinks with the meal using bar tab instread of paying separately

Very lack of service, it started off with them not knowing that I booked online, then waiting almost half an hour to get out order taken. Food was average and tasted like it was prepared hours in advance and then microwaved. By the time the food was out my child was nearly asleep. Plus for the price of 2 soft drinks and 4 XXXX beers on top of a $80 food bill, was obviously ripped off bringing it to over $140. Definitely won't be going back in a hurry as it was definitely no where near proper Mexican food typically westernized

As always the food was great. But was asked 4 times if we were ready to order, so felt as if we were being rushed.

Great margaritas. Good atmosphere. Children go nuts on the stairs?? Wrong meal for child came late then taken away before she had finished while she was in the bathroom. Upset but overall good service

Montazuma's Restaurant is one of the best Mexican Restaurants on the Gold Coast. We normally come with two family members who go there quite often and love the food there. The atmosphere is electrifying and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Great food, great service all dished up efficiently. Wonderful friendly atmosphere. When we arrived there, unfortunately there was no bookings made? Lucky for us the staff managed to find us a table.

They had Great service and great food! Would love to see the bar set up a bit more. My fav Montezuma on the Gold Coast

The food is delicious. The service is friendly and efficient. The bar can get a little busy so double park or buy the 1ltr jugs to save you extra drink trips! Delish!

Delicious food with the best chopped salad anywhere, friendly staff and a great meeting place for friends and family. Always reliable and never disappointing! Love it.

Always a great meal. My parents went on their first date at Montezumas and they have been going ever since. Now I love it :)

Very long wait for main, starter came quickly but hour before main course came, difficult when you have a ten year old. But did get a discount on the meal.

Love this Mexican restaurant in the Old Burleigh Arcade. Has been serving great food with all the classics & great service for many years. Recommend.

The food was absolutely fantastic, the Restaurant had a great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and helpful with our requests for my mother, who is Celiac. The Marguerita's were the best!!!

We ended going next door to eat after waiting too long for service. We were first to sit outside and as it filled up to capacity, we had still not had our order taken, yet other tables had so I can only just imagine how long it wold have taken to actually get the food. Very disappointing service and overpriced menu.

Love love eating at Montezuma's we've been going there for 30 years, love that it never changes, geat atmosphere friendly staff and amazing food especially the Montezuma's delight 😍

Really enjoyed the experience. Food was great. Will be returning for another go. The place was busy but the service was efficient. Would recommend it to anyone.

Great food at decent price but not the atmosphere it looks like online. Very crowded and hard to locate. Would not go again while here.

Service was really slow as usual and they forgot most of my meal. Ordered a combination meal, the server dropped off part of it then quickly ran off before I was even able to say anything.

It was very busy but service and food still outstanding . Will go back again. Parking can be an issue but didn't spoil our experience. Will recommend to everyone

The service was great, staff were friendly, food came out quickly, it was delicious and it was reasonably priced. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone craving some yummy Mexican.

Had a great evening with friends at this really popular Mexican Restaurant. Prices are mid range for both food and drinks. Need to book as the place is always full. Everyone enjoyed their meals and would definitely visit again.

Chicken mole which, usually is my favorite, was mostly wings and tough meat. But great a/c on a hot humid night. Service was very good.

The food was great as it always is. Love the atmosphere and the staff are always very friendly and courteous. We enjoy sitting outside love the vibe the restaurant has.

Food was average. Much better Mexican can be found elsewhere on the coast. Restaurant has a tacky, family-restaurant vibe. Maybe a good place to take your kids but not if you're looking for quality Mexican food.

The food was awesome as always ...our waitress Jane helpful as always but unfortunately we waited for over an hour and a half for our dinner to arrive .

The food was tasty. The staff were friendly. They seemed understaffed - I felt a bit sorry for them. The food took a while to come & didnt all come together. The sides for one dish didnt come till quite a bit after the meal came out. However the food was good - hot & tasty. The physical appearance of the place (especially the bar) is looking a bit tired.

One of our favourite restaurants. Food is always delicious and served nice and quick. Atmosphere is great. Can’t get enough of the cheese dip!!! Very reasonable prices too so would highly recommend.

Lack of taste......very bland and plain. Needs to have more spices and herbs. Felt that it was overpriced too. Service was ordinary. Hope it gets better!

Good service but flavours not great, heavy on carbs and cheese If every Mexican ate this stuff every day they would be dead by 35 of a heart attack

It took 50 minutes to get meal. Order was wrong , food avarage. Staff were rude. No table service for drinks. Not happy thank you
