Montezuma's - Crows Nest

Bland food, average service- nice people but had to wait to order and then starter and main came at same time. Wouldn’t recommend

Won’t visit again! Food was bland, the worst Mexican we’ve ever had! Waiter forgot to tell my partner that the plate was piping hot and he burnt his hand! Food was actually disgusting! We never complained as that’s clearly how it normally comes but we won’t be going back or recommending it to anybody

Expensive for the standard of the food. Would not go there again

Entree arrived at the same time as the main Food was ordinary

Food was delicious as always, although service was a little slow, perhaps a little understaffed for an unexpectedly busy Monday night 🤷‍♀️

The food is amazing! They were very busy, but the service was reasonably quick. They got my order wrong, but luckily all their food is delicious.

Arrived at 6.50pm, had made a reservation. After being seated, we waited till 7.18pm hoping to be served but no one ever came to take our order for food or drinks. Nearly 30 minutes wasted being ignored. Finally went and said something and they stand around looking confused - no offer to take our orders or get us a drink. We left without eating. It was my first time at Montezuma’s in years given how bad the service has been in the past. Thought I would give them another go - it’s only gotten worse! Don’t waste your time.

Terrilble service. Sadly lacking any management. However, food was good.

We used the Entertainment Book for a group of 13 and they would only use 2 vouchers,,inspite of the rules stating that you can use 3 per table. This is a one main meal free when another of equal or greater value is purchased, so its not a massive xost to the restaurant, as the cheapest meals are always taken.

1/2 of our drinks turned up after we finished eating - Even after asking for them 3 times. The dinner order was incorrect and forgot some of our order then proceeded to charge us for them. Our meals also turned up all at different times. It was for my daughters birthday so really dampened the buzz.

Food was great. However, the service was not great and the waiting times were a bit too long.

Always a good tasty meal and the young man who served us was very nice.

Bad service! Staff that didn’t understand the order and then didn’t get it right! Lost drinks order! Lost 2 main courses out of 8! I won’t be back!

The food was great, but the staff had no idea what was going on. They didn’t ask if we wanted soft or hard tacos and didn’t put in our order for dessert. Food was still worth the visit.

Lovely casual neighbourhood Mexican with great staff, nice Margaritas and good food. Recommended and never disappoints.

Service was slow, food was pretty average...not worth the price for what they are serving. Staff kept coming over to the table with the wrong order and couldn't speak English, so was hard to communicate.

Montezuma's Crows Nest is always a fun place to have dinner.

We had a late Sunday lunch when it was quiet and the service was quick, if not requiring a bit of prodding.

If I could give zero star I would.. just had dinner there with my husband, made booking at 17:30.. 3 different waiters came to ask our order.. seems they forgot about our order, took 1hour and 20 mins to get food.. 3 tables arrived after us ate and left.. ordered 2 beers, only one arrived.. if you are in the mood for a wait of 80 mins for a burrito and half of a drink.. go for it.. customer service of the year!!
