The Nachos and enchilladas were good. I can make better chilli con carne as there was no spice/heat in the one that I was served. The waitress said that she would return with new cutlery after we had eaten our entree but forgot to return. The Sangria had no flavour. Not a great dining experience

excellent! service was quick, there are so many great choices on the menu, drinks were delicious, great location, can see the beach from the restaurant which is always lovely. will be returning!

Terrible wait times. Meals came out at different times. Staff were attentive though.

Meals didn't come out together. 3 came out and the 4th arrived 10 minutes later. Had to ask twice for our serve of jalapinos.

The table we booked was ready when we arrived, which was great. We ordered our drinks. I’d finished mine by the time the rest of the table got theirs 10-15 mins after me. There were six of us, we ordered nibbles and mains. Starters were fine, poppers a little pricey for what you get. Then the mains started dribbling in. First off, one order was wrong, that had to be sent back as it had items on it we asked not to be. Still waiting for all the food. The wrong dish that was brought back, pulled pork completely cold. Now five of us have got out food, 20-25mins and still no last meal. We had to wave someone down. Then we realised they’d completely forgotten it. We had all finished eating. Last person finally got their meal while we all watched her eat. 15mins later a confused girl comes to the table with another meal. Obviously no communication or very poor staff training. Now rating the food, rice dried out and no flavour, overall I’d give food a big blahhhh. Which was a pity as I love Mexican. The staff were friendly but clueless.

Wow, what a shocker. Anything worse than getting vegan fajitas instead of normal. How do people eat that shit. Never again, good luck to them. Place used to be so much better.

I had my usual, San Francisco, it was awesome, my wife had the Monty Delight, minor hiccup with the beef, but the store rectified, so all good. Cocktails were awesome, we love Montezumas, never disappoints.

Have been coming to Montys for years, our favourite restaurant on the coast. Disappointed last night. Our order was not taken for nearly 45 mins, others seated after us we’re getting their dinner & we hadn’t even ordered. Yes it was busy, but I think could have been handled better. Restaurant was HOT, no aircon or fan on. Qld needs aircon. Provide blankets for patrons who het cold perhaps. I know you can’t pls everyone. Food was good , staff friendly, just felt a bit forgotten

Last meal took so long to come out others had finished. And when it came out it was missing 2 main sauces and prawns where dry.

My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Montezumas Mooloolaba with our children. We first dated in 1994 and our first dining experience was at Montezumas Mooloolaba. We often dine there over the years, I have tried all the menu items, love them all. My favorite is the San Antonio for entree and the Colorado for mains. We had a great night and I cannot fault any experience over the the past 29 years.

I ordered Chile Verde. Also the Sangria. Both are off-the-scale AWFUL. The Chile Verde - rice undercooked, still quite hard. The meat overcooked and tasted dry and cardboard-like. Just plain awful. The sangria - really you call this a sangria? This is not the Montezuma I used to know and love. Just a HUGE disappointment tonight.

We waited for over 1 hour for our meals, We had an early sitting and orsered beef strips which they could not supply?

Food was horrible, waited over an hour for nachos and two tacos. Tacos were freezing cold and we ordered beef nachos. They gave us pulled pork. Service was terrible, no one looked happy being there. The two margaritas were nice tho

Food was delicious and service was happy & helpful. Well done to the staff and owners, we’ve been coming to Montez for many many years and feel the good old flavour with some twist is back. Love the change in corn chips - delicious.

Rang and asked for an inside table a week before reservation and was told it was inside which when we arrived it wasn’t. They moved us to their last booth crammed in the corner which was disappointing. Luckily we were able to move before our food came. Food was yummy but it does take over an hour each time we go!

Food was very average. We ordered nachos which were soggy and minimal chips. Also ordered the quesadillas which only come with 3 pieces and no salsa or sour cream. Overall pretty disappointed and won't return.

Lovely food, atmosphere and staff as always. One of our go to favourites.

Prompt service and good food. Even got the window table that we'd requested. Nice touch was that our young 9 year old guest was given a puzzle/colouring sheet and coloured pencils to occupy her.

My Drango meal was nice, but my partner chicken Fajita was very dry, no sauce and onion and capsicum not cooked and not sizzling, like it used to be. Unappealing. Sorry. The rest was nice.
