Staff & service was excellent and very friendly. Great meal

Food was good but there was only 1 staff member out front who was run off his feet and meant our drinks were delayed and food did not come out all together. Food was good as usual and if they can staff the restaurant properly then I'd highly recommend. Price wise its very expensive. $34 for the main is way too expensive and far more than the old Montezumas that was down the road.

Staff were friendly. Food was full of flavour. Meals arrived quickly and were hot.

While we had a great time,a little off putting was being asked to leave by 2pm. I get you shut but we only got there for 1 pm. And spending $230 and then at 1.25 pm asked would we like anything else as bar & kitchen is shutting was a bit off putting . Food was great.

The food was great. But was told upon arrival for a group of 18 people at 6.30 that they shut at 8pm. We wondered whether it meant the kitchen shut or the restaurant, but no the waitress told people who were still eating that they will shut in 5 minutes. Also no table service only option was to order via the q code at the table. We had elderly people at the table so process took way longer, therefore having the stress of having to order and eat quick before we had to leave. The restaurant should have notified us beforehand of their closing time as this was a birthday celebration and we felt very rushed.

Staff were lovely and we didn't have to wait for long. Restaurant was clean and appealing. The food wasn't bad at all but flavour was underwhelming and temperature of my fajitas was lukewarm :(

The food was nice but slightly bland - we like more spicy/hot but I guess they need to cater for the majority- I should have ordered side of jalapeños perhaps! Only disappointing aspect was no plates with our entrees - we ordered 3 entrees to share between 4 (corn chips & trio dip, jalapeño poppers, and taquitos) but they did not provide side plates. Was hard to get waiter attention as all ordered online & they just drop if off at table & vanish. Actual restaurant atmosphere was nice but they should play Mexican/Spanish music. Girl at front counter was lovely even though she initially charged us for incorrect table, but it was quickly rectified & she was very pleasant. An enjoyable evening.

I love montezumas but each time I go I feel it getting worse and worse. From being told I have no option but to order with the qr code to the bar closing at 8pm on a Friday night. There was a large table having an 18th birthday and including us another 6 tables with people eating and drinking. The amount of revenue they lost by closing that early is insane. We've decided we going to stop going now. As this is not the first time we've experienced this

The nachos and the chicken taco bowl were lacking flavour they need mexican spice, and if you advertise the special chicken taco bowl as coming with cornchips there should be more than 2 corn chips on the bowl, then to charge for extras. The beef Montezuma delight was good as usual.

Food was not up to Montezuma's standard. Chilli nachos were covered in sour cream and no chilli sauce. Mexican salad was half filled with cheaper cos lettuce to cut costs, there are many cost cutting practices being used with the food here and it shows in the quality and quantity, price is still high to the diner though.

Bring back the old montezumas, the corn chips were so greasy they were terrible. The rest of the meals weee pretty good. Service was great

Not a fan of the online ordering than the personal table service of old. Glad it didn’t make you pay online at least. Food was great as always.

The use of the QR code to order wasn't explained when we came in, we had to ask someone. They then ordered using the code on their mobile phone for us. My son's meal came out after we had all finished our meals. I asked for sour cream which was supposedly included in the meal, but it never came out, however, we were charged extra for it. Found that staff didn't want to interact with customers. Food was lovely though but the lack of customer service and the fact that my son's meal came out ages after ours puts us off going again, when this restaurant has been a go-to for our family for many years.

We have always rated Montezuma’s as one of our favourite restaurants but were disappointed last night. The new system of having to order with QR code on the table made the ordering confusing, antisocial and quite frustrating. One of the meals was also not very hot. For the price you pay I would much prefer proper table service.

I went for Mother’s Day with my wife and two (fussy) kids. The food was amazing and the ordering process by app from the table was easy to understand and fast. The best part though, and the thing that will have me returning, was the super friendly service from the staff there. That is something that is lacking from many establishments, but not here, tonight.

The staff were friendly and efficient, the ambience delightful, the food was extremely tasty. Unfortunately, because of the lack of acoustics, the large group of noisy diners made it difficult for us to hear each other.

I have been going to Montezuma’s Mt Gravatt for 35 plus years. We drove up from the Gold Coast last night for a family birthday. Great night. Highly recommend them

The waitress was fantastic and delivered excellent service despite the kitchen running out of chicken, long wait times and customers walking out after waiting too long. Well done to the young lady for staying positive and doing the best she could under the circumstances.
