Food was excellent, staff were perfect, except for one who said she would check if we had any more plates coming but then never came back. It was my fault for skimming the menu and booking without realising it is a set fee for all-you-can eat with a wastage fee. I'm also from interstate so had never heard of a wastage fee before. We pushed through about 16 plates between two of us, and finished all but 1 plate, which was the beef salad and had come out cold and full of fat. Staff were lovely enough to listen to my concerns and reason why I didn't finish it, and we weren't charged the fee for that plate 🙏. The Yuzu soda is next level and I need to know the recipe or where to buy it from 🙏🙏🙏

We were seated quickly and the staff were all so friendly and polite. Every dish arrived quickly and warm, ready to eat immediately. Nothing was too hot or too cold. Large servings and enough to share between our party of 3.

Very happy with the visit. 1 of our fried rice dishes did not come but when we asked a waiter he went to the kitchen and brought us 1 straight away.

This was our second work dinner here and it's AMAZING we ate soo much!!! The all you can eat experience is a fantastic way to try all the dishes and really built a great vibe around the table 😁 I rave to my friends and family and want each of them to come down and eat here.

We came to celebrate a friends 60th birthday. The food was beautiful and the service and staff were impeccable and the dishes were well paced for us to enjoy . Arigato

Always a welcoming atmosphere and good food. It’s our regular spot.

Food was fine however we had to leave early and without finishing our meals and drinks due to the woman and children sitting next to us. The woman didn’t know what an inside voice meant even though she kept loudly telling her young children to use one and she kept “teaching” or “berating” her children her thoughts. My advise just have a normal conversation with your children, be happy and joyful the age of your daughters not everything has to be a teaching moment. Let them be children at not once did we hear laughter just you. Ruined the dining experience

The food was great, although some of the portion sizes were smaller than on previous visits. Unfortunately we were seated near the kitchen, so we had the loud music blaring from the kitchen in one ear and the (rather awful) music on the restaurant speaker system, so that wasn't great. Service was good, but I was quite disappointed that my 13 year old daughter was charged as an adult. Overall, I would give this visit 6/10.

I’ve been to Okami in Albury quite a few times now, and honestly, the food never disappoints. It’s always lovely — fresh, tasty, and served just right. Every visit has been consistently good, which is pretty rare these days. Whether it’s dinner with friends or a family get-together, Okami is one of those places that just works for everyone. What I really like about this place is the way they do their all-you-can-eat menu. It’s not a typical buffet where you have to get up and line up for food. You just order what you want off the menu, and the staff bring it out to your table. Everything comes out freshly cooked, hot, and nicely presented. It feels more like a proper restaurant meal than a buffet, but you still get to try as much as you want. The food itself is great. I usually go for the chicken karaage, beef teriyaki, and prawn gyoza — they’re all delicious and always cooked perfectly. The sushi rolls are super fresh, and the sashimi tastes clean and smooth. I also love the tempura prawns and vegetables — the batter is crisp without being greasy, which is exactly how it should be. And if you like smaller bites, the takoyaki, edamame, and seaweed salad are worth ordering too. The staff here are always friendly and helpful. Even when the place is packed (which it usually is on weekends), they manage to keep things running smoothly. It’s consistent, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable — which is exactly why I keep coming back. If you’re craving Japanese food in Albury, this place is a no-brainer.
