Fantastic, as always. I'll be back. Food is always delivered quickly after selecting from the all you can eat menu. Staff are always friendly and polite.

We had all you can eat for my sons birthday. Great food, great service and a great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend and we will definitely return for another feed! :)

Normally we enjoy our experience at Okami. We love the food and the service is usually exceptional ( esp at Geelong). However, our last experience (at Ballarat) wasn't so great. We waited for more than 25 minutes for our 2nd order only to discover that it had been taken to another table by mistake. We realise that the restaurant was very busy and the girl who served us was inexperienced; however, we had our son with us who is 21 years old and severely autistic, he was very upset when he had to wait so long for his food. Apart from that, the food was still good and of high quality.

The staff were very helpful and the food was amazing. A very enjoyable evening had by both of us. We will definitely be returning with our friends!!!

Had a great meal, lots of variety and choices and very tasty. Didnt have to wait long between the various dishes. Staff were very friendly courteous and attentive. Great value for money and would thoroughly recommend Okami

Food was terrific. Service was a bit casual. Not what I would call a classy restaurant experience but nice food. Turn on the heating would be good too.

Booking was on school hoildays and they were very busy- service was fast - staff were tired but doing job so well Food Fantasic- little cold we were placed near kitchen and was a draft. Would definately go again great for groups and catered for all including a vegan - love it.

Great place to smash food into your face hole until you feel sick, then eat so much ice cream you question all your life choices up until that point. The shame is so delicious.

A busy little restaurant. The food was delicious. All you can eat concept very reasonably priced. Meals came out extremely fast. Highly recommend this restaurant.

food was good quality. however the service was poor. we understood they had been busy earlier due to mothers day and that orders get missed from time to time however our drink orders were messed up,our food orders were forgotten twice and half way through they said sorry your order was lost but the kitchen is closing now. that said when we appeared unhappy with that, the food did arrived magically. the staff were nice but seemed to be exhausted and really want us out. we booked the 7.45 time so we could take our time. have had great experiences at other okami restaurants. will go back but will expect a big turn around

I am wondering if the wait staff are put under a bit too much pressure in this Restaurant? They were pleasant and attentive, but we endured log waits for uncooked items like ice-cream, missed out on the rice all together, and watched the staff search the place for another "all-you-can-eat" menu when the next table asked for one! Things easy to improve - just a few more staff members, and please use filtered water in your green tea! The food was ok to poor, not really Japanese, just related to Japanese. Nothing tasted quite right - if you have never has any Japanese food before, you might think it ok, but to me it tasted like the poor relation of Japanese cooking! For example, hardly any salt on the edamame, a strange texture to the beef dish, very thin salmon and tuna on the sushi messed with the ballance of how sushi should taste. I gave it a try, but probably won't be rushing back! On the face of it the "all you can eat" deal seemed good value, but really they are taking short cuts on the quality of the food (so ::not:: a Japanese thing) while selling you the drinks! Stay longer, eat more, buy another beer!

So delicious. We kept eating until we couldn’t eat anymore. It’s worth the visit. Highly recommended. Great customer service. Can’t pick a favourite dish. My husband is very hard to fill & he was rolling out tonight

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Okami. There were 8 of us (3 children) and all of us enjoyed the variety of the menu as well as everything being freshly made. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back.

Great food and pricing best in Ballarat. Some waitresses can come across a little short and the atmosphere can seem a little hurried when busy. But still one of my favourite places to eat in.

Good selection of tasty Japanese food, especially the entree selection, at a reasonable price. We booked for a party of 5 and were quickly and graciously welcomed and lead to our table. It is an All-You-Can-Eat style of ordering for eat-in, we just ordered the selections we wanted and the waiting staff quickly brought them to the table. Very happy with the service, I would recommend to try out this restaurant.
